    I would love to make a mold of my favorite sail plane fuselage. No longer in production. I still have two fuses and one canopy

    The canopy scrip I do on the plug befor you make the mold for it, so it has the line in the canopy mold to cut it too. i use tape to do the scribe line first. Then I glue the part in the mold and lay it up.

    And here I am wondering how to do this molds... Could I also do that with a foam fuselage

    When making larger split moulds its best to add alignment pegs to the mould itself . A small wooden pyramid near each corner would be enough for a mould like this . When you make the second half you fill into the recess created and then the mould will always have perfect alignment

      Drilling holes for dowel pins in epoxy blobs works just the same, but easier and the mold faces stay flat which is good too.

    Hmmmm yeah think im just gonna glue a bunch of foam bits together with carbon fiber tube staked through the guts to brace it an run severo cables through, cut an shape an then fiberglass it after watching this video..informative as it was.
