I kinda noticed her too. I first saw her in a 1960s TV show which followed whatever I was watching before it, which was the one I actually wanted to watch, and I can't remember what it was . . Her show was called Honey West, which I found boring but did see a bit of it. I saw Forbidden Planet for the 1st time much later and was floored by that gorgeous daughter of Morbius or Moebius . .
That was fun. Thank You. I'm glad moments like this are not lost.
Anne was a pal of mine and I'm pretty sure she didn't have a copy of this rarity. Thanks so much for unearthing it!
Thank you for posting this. If my research is correct this would be the very first appearance of Robby The Robot, even before "Forbidden Planet."
Best robot ever
Dick Buelow disagree still love the robot B9
so inventive and well done for the era !
This was a delightful clip of both the late Perry Como and Anne Francis and is from 1956 or 57.
Early 1956, before the movie was released on April 1, 1956.
As a kid, after seeing Forbidden Planet on TV, I thought Anne was one of the most beautiful females I have ever seen in my life.

I've never seen, or even heard of, this. A big thanks, even if it is a tad late!
finally ive been looking for this clip forever
One of my first loves - ( Anne , not the robot ) I was 6 .
Judging by the reaction of the audience--some of the were convinced that it was an actual robot!
My mom watched Perry Como a lot. I'm remembering him as a prolific dancer . . True? I'd like to revisit some of his numbers . .
It's funny that Anne took off her high heels so she wouldn't make Perry Como look like a dwarf. She was 5' 8" (173 cm) and he was only 5 '6" (168 cm).
she's tall and hott!😉
still taller than como
honey west is the best
They both look the same height !!!
Perry Como sounds like he's trying to do an Ed Sullivan impersonation with that introduction.
I don't suppose anyone knows when this originally aired...
1956
Episode aired Feb 18, 1956
@@j.w.hunter8126 Ah, cool, thank you.
Neat.
Anne was great. I don't remember Perry being so lame.
