    My country, the Philippines,
    land of gold and flowers.
    Love is in her palms
    that offered beauty and splendor.
And for her refinement and beauty,
    foreigners were enticed.
    My country, thou wast enslaved,
    mired in suffering.
Even birds that are free to fly-
cage them and they shall cry!
How much more for country so beautiful,
would she not yearn to be free?
    My Philippines that I treasure,
cradle of my tears and suffering,
    My dream is
    to see thee truly free!

Sa attitude nyong yan, ginagawa nyo lang sila na kalaban at haters sa ating lahi, kaya pls be more responsible and respect to other lahi and their accomplishments. respect begets respect.

At first, hey didn't, but by the 17-1800's, they were coming in their thousands, with galleons arriving in manila bay on a regular basis, several times a year, going through mexico and south america, and then moving on towards europe. That is why mexico and philippines are such strong allies and why there are even some filipino descendants living in mexico, and mexican descendants living in the philippines.

I've already known from a very young age that there is extreme poverty in some parts of the philippines. but poverty is not just an issue that affects "third world" countries. There is also poverty in "first world" countries, as well, such as the usa, uk, france, germany and japan. There is even poverty in malaysia. The difference between "first world" and "third world" countries, is that "first world" countries are capable of providing support for the poverty stricken in their own country.

The chinese were already trading with the philippines in the 10th century. This trade agreement between the 2 countries was very lucrative for both the philippines and china, especially during the second half of the ming dynasty. Also, taiwan is actually a part of china, along with hong kong, so saying taiwan instead of china is pretty nonsensicle.

During the reign of Sultan Bolkiah in 1485 to 1521, the Sultanate of Brunei decided to break the Dynasty of Tondo's monopoly in the China trade by attacking it and establishing the state of Selurong (now Manila) as a Bruneian satellite-state. This proves that the true filipino is a peaceful people, preferring to trade, than to conquer, and that brunei was jealous of the filipino monopoly on trade in the region, and lacked the mental capacity to break that monopoly by peaceful means.
