  • Notice in this video the quality results this fast drying 1 part paint can achieve using a roller. This paint is mostly meant to be sprayed, but in my experience, it rolls and levels out very smoothly.
I rolled this paint over vinyl sealer, which is far my opinion, to any primer. Any questions about this paint or if you've had experience in using it feel free to comment below.

Thank you for this video. In the video are you using a 1/4 or 3/8 nap? Also, how would you compare the self leveling compared to Benjamin Moore Advanced Satin? Thank you in advance.

1/4 nap. Advance is superior with leveling out as it has a much longer open dry time. Thanks for watching!

    Always prime MDF

Command is just as good as a primer. Just sand the first coat and then do one or two more coats and you're good to go. Virtually zero difference from starting with a "primer"

I just spayed this paint on a front door with a hvlp sprayer. The front door had been abused by the sun, so I’ll have to see how durable it is BUT it’s the best paint that I’ve ever used in my hvlp. Can’t wait to try it out on a set of built-ins I just made for my daughter

Nice, glad to hear it sprays well. I haven't tried spraying it, but I'm sure it's better than brushing, etc. However, according to the product specs, it should only be used for interior purposes😳

@@DRV_Woodworks Benjamin Moore rep suggested it on the exterior door because of dry time and hardness of the finish.

Sorry, I actually confused this video with my Behr video and was answering comments one after another. Nonetheless, I haven't used command for exterior applications, but interior it is a good product. I did have to thin it about 5% or so with hvlp. Hope it works out for you 🙏

Did you need to thin it at all?

What vinyl sealer do you like? Have you tried rolling the Command thinned or with an extender? Thanks for the video!

I use EZ vinyl sealer from Mohawk. I haven't tried thinning etc. Seems to level our pretty well so long as the conditions are right for proper drying cause it does dry fast. An extender might help it lay out even better. Not sure I would recommend thinning it though. Thanks for watching!

Looks great on MDF. Have you used this for painting kitchen/bathroom cabinets if so what was your experience. Thanks

I haven't used it on kitchen or bath cabs, but I have used them on cabinet doors for built ins and wall units. It's a good durable paint when fully cured. I know they advertise the paint as being suitable for kitchen and bath cabs but I can't speak to its longevity in those areas. Hope this helps, and thanks for watching

I did the cabinets in our laundry room 2 years ago and our kitchen last year. I spayed them using a Wagner Flexio 4000 thinned at about 10%. Finish was flat and smooth as could be. Handled them within an hour and they’ve held up perfectly. Not a chip or mark in any of it. Did my exterior doors in black with it last summer using a Grace airless, BEAUTIFUL! I won’t use another paint ever again! Extremely durable.
