I actually think Tcm is the best asymmetrical game at its core but the devs don’t release any new updates or new features, whereas the people running DBD are amazing !!! They know how to keep us coming back
Ik they went through a whole rework because of a smaller company taking on a bigger company’s lead.Pretty sure they are taking there time with this game and trying not to rush.I hope it succeeds because the 3v7 I think will work better for longevity than 3v4.My opinion I wouldn’t count on it coming in this half of the year if so it will be later on.
@@NachoLuchaLibre it’s any one’s guess when it will come out but the game was supposed to come out much sooner before illfonic took over with publishing so it’s been delayed.Since we haven’t gotten many updates I’m keeping a realistic timeline of when it will come out.I’m no expert but they are adding a lot more than what we would have gotten I’m assuming I just want them to learn from other games mistakes because it has the potential.

YES!! Ever since the OG Developers went dead silent back in February after their week-by-week news drops I had been very vocal about my displeasement with how they were handling NOT giving any updates as to what was happening. Setbacks are bound to happen and I called it but the silence was uncalled for and unethical. then it went to a bigger team which could do more ans AGAIN faith was restored and if taking their time I was all for it. I even spoke with the Chiodos who are hands on with the game and have done some of the beta testing as well and they even said it will be worth the wait. And now they are just dropping these screenshots and gifs with no other further context or other news and it's honestly annoying... Honestly I don't know which is more annoying- The silence with very little Social media interaction with the fans or just the posting of what we already know and no other news being dropped..... I get it. Polish the game so it needs very little to no bug patches in the start but now we JUST want any update. it's been a hot minute WE NEED ANSWERS
Man I was looking forward to this game for a while, but yeah the lack of communication and constant delays are making me think this game is either gonna be real bad when it comes or... or it won't even come out.
One thing I noticed abt this community is the rushhh . Texas chain only been out for barely even a year . And theirs so much complaining and obv game just came out . Trial and error don’t rush this game because then something could be wrong and now ur complaining abt the game
Teravision said now that illfonic took over the publisher roll. They can add more stuff to it that they could not before. While you wait, just play Evil Dead the game. It's the best asym horror game to date.
honestly started feeling same after hearing... nothing for so long! im not suuuper into asym games but i have played dbd for a while, i love killer klowns so i was excited! looked super fun and colorful etc. at this point just add them to dbd lmfao. any amount of hype that was generated by the og announcement has died, i feel like there will be a handful of dedicated players at launch, but it hasnt stayed relevant so i feel like itll die fast :-(
the only asymmetrical game that had a chance over dbd was friday, damn shame the lawsuit prevented it from further development

A developer said in an interview done a few weeks ago that their aiming to release the game within the first six months of 2024.
If that the case we would be getting any update for a beta which say it won’t be released till the end of 2024 or next year

Illphonic is also the developer of Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed and have been working on updates and big fixes for that which have taken priority.
