The dub version of the camp scene has Bakugo say "What do you mean its weird!? How can you people be so damn bad at everything!?" And I love that line for giving us a look into the basics of Bakugo's psyche. It tells us that he thinks everything he does is actually just bare minimum normalcy.

For gods sake people you've worked there for two months now, and you are wearing a cut resistant glove, stop acting afraid of the damn knife and use the blade properly instead of just the end of it, stop dragging all the interior of the bread out on your tiny super dull portion of your abused knife... Looking at these scenes makes want to pat Chef Bakugo on the shoulder and apologize on behalf of all the people around him, specifically in regard to cooking. I don't really see Bakugo being romantically involved with anyone really, I just think that he appreciates things done well, and she made a REALLY good dish, and it pissed him off that they were ruining his enjoyment of the dish by bringing up family drama when there were guests in the house. Dude is a perfectionist at literally everything he does. Thats why so many people like him and why he inspires his class - because they understand that in his own way, he is pushing them to be their very best no matter what they do and won't settle for anything done half-assed.
I feel like Bakugo is one of the few characters with enough skills that if he ever loses his Quirk he could get by irl just fine. He could very easily be a top chef at a respected restaurant, and play part-time in a band that frequents “battle of the bands” events.
Bakugo is that guy you know that aims to be the best for everything and definitely puts in 100% of his effort into getting better at all of them. He might be a genius, but he also have the hard work put in.
Ever notice how every single one of his talents is a natural talent? Naturally good at Cooking, great at drums without practicing for years, dominates in the hero course... Even in the midterms, he got third place, only behind the nerds who dedicate their lives to school.

We have seen how much attention he pays to how hard he works. He's not naturally good at cooking he probably cooked at home as well has been shown on side stories to actually enjoying cooking (also shown by how he asks the sister for recipe because she's better). His whole character has been shown to be about being the best and pushing to be the best no matter what. His entire personality is crazy because he's stuck up dick who wants to be the best and doesn't shy away from working for it. He deserves his place too. He's the biggest nerd. The only rule he has broken are the dress code and screaming too loud. Other than that he's the fucking nerd.

I like seeing this side of bakugo. Everything he does, he puts his everything into. He's a very passionate person, only showing respect to those who he sees take what they do seriously. If you're not giving what you dedicate your life to your all, why bother with it? I don't mean hobbies, I mean like hero work or something. Look at the people he chooses to be closeish with. Deku, todoroki, kirishima. All people who have proven their passion in what they want to do. Especially deku who literally risked his life so many times to save people and has broken his body numerous times as well in his pursuit of his dream. He was like he was at the start... I love this little extra touch of character for Bakugou. It shows that he (for whatever reason) had to step up and do some cooking at home. Given that we've seen his mom both has a similar personality and cares deeply for him i take it that she went out of her way to force him to learn how to cook. Probably even said some of the same things like about bringing shame for cutting chives poorly.
The one line I can think of is when, during the sports festival tournament, when some of his classmates are berating him for his match against Uraraka (saying things along the lines of “how could you go all out against such a fragile defenseless girl?”) and he basically responds with “what about her was fragile?” No yelling, no rage (I don’t think he’s physically capable of quiet rage), just respect for his classmate who put her all into their bout Definitely one of my favorite Bakugo moments tbh

I feel like Bakugo is one of the few characters with enough skills that if he ever loses his Quirk he could get by irl just fine. He could very easily be a top chef at a respected restaurant, and play part-time in a band that frequents “battle of the bands” events.

The only thing natural was him getting a strong quirk. We have seen how much attention he pays to how hard he works. He's not naturally good at cooking he probably cooked at home as well has been shown on side stories to actually enjoying cooking (also shown by how he asks the sister for recipe because she's better).
His whole character has been shown to be about being the best and pushing to be the best no matter what.
His entire personality is crazy because he's stuck up dick who wants to be the best and doesn't shy away from working for it.
He deserves his place too.

When u r passionate about something u will get upset when people downplay it or act like they don’t have time for it. I like seeing this side of bakugo. Everything he does, he puts his everything into. He's a very passionate person, only showing respect to those who he sees take what they do seriously. If you're not giving what you dedicate your life to your all, why bother with it? I don't mean hobbies, I mean like hero work or something. Look at the people he chooses to be closeish with. Deku, todoroki, kirishima. All people who have proven their passion in what they want to do. Especially deku who literally risked his life so many times to save people and has broken his body numerous times as well in his pursuit of his dream. He was like he was at the start... He wants to be the best hero he can kn his own way while pushing those he actually is friends with as well. I love this little extra touch of character for Bakugou. It shows that he (for whatever reason) had to step up and do some cooking at home. Given that we've seen his mom both has a similar personality and cares deeply for him i take it that she went out of her way to force him to learn how to cook. Probably even said some of the same things like about bringing shame for cutting chives poorly.
i love his character expansion so much. i don’t think he’s delivered one line of dialogue that isn’t filled with rage or just a calm before the storm
The one line I can think of is when, during the sports festival tournament, when some of his classmates are berating him for his match against Uraraka (saying things along the lines of “how could you go all out against such a fragile defenseless girl?”) and he basically responds with “what about her was fragile?”
No yelling, no rage (I don’t think he’s physically capable of quiet rage), just respect for his classmate who put her all into their bout
