It's great some in the egg industry is trying to improve quality of life of the chickens. So hats off for moving in the right direction. That said, there is still quite a way to go to reach the ideal of truly ethical egg which would require not killing them. A few animal rights related questions... 1. Can you describe the process of how you end up with only female chickens? Did you determine they were females before hatching or were male chicks simply killed? 2. What if hens cease laying eggs? Are they sent off to be slaughtered?
