After reading the lore, I absolutely get the feeling of a story being told throughout the song itself. I'd love to see the lore animated as a short film to this album, sorta like how Interstella 5555 was made.
I've been listening to "Town Ain't Big Enough" at least twice a day since it dropped. And.. I got to out myself here.. Pluff, you remember that pole you put up some time ago? The one asking that if you made a full original album, would we support it financially? (Paraphrasing, I don't remember exact wording) I'm actually upset at myself for voting that I probably wouldn't. I'm gonna fix that, Pluff. You deserve better for giving us gold like this.
Please don't fix that "pole" typo. It was really funny because it took me minutes to understand that it was not polish people. Also it goes to show that when asked, people are usually wrong on whether they want or don't want something, unless it was given to them.
@@WingMaster562 after I typed it, I knew it was wrong but couldn't figure out why. I straight up forgot that "poll" was how it was spelled. I'll leave it up because it is funny.
Human Legacy just feels like the kind of song you would hear when the camera is panning out to look at a landscape after a part of the main cast dies. It really gives that "You won the fight, but at what cost?" vibe. Like I can't help but picture Crawford just slumped against a wall staring at the sky(or the ceiling, if he was inside a building) knowing full well he was going to die, but fully accepting the fact as he had accomplished what he wanted.
For some reason, I can't help but hear the iconic synth line from "The final countdown" layered over top of "After him!" 14:21 is right about where it starts in my head.
I wasn't sure how this was gonna sound knowing there wouldn't be any mashups but goddamn, this album is so cool. Just reading the lore and imagining my own end to the story while i listened was so much fun. Somebody should make a short game based on this!
I've been creating a modified B1 Battle Droid bounty hunter for a Star Wars TTRPG. This album has EXACTLY the vibe that this character needs for their adventures! Ballsy robot western style, with plenty of swagger, while maintaining a strong electronic presence throughout. This album is the perfect blend of grit and determination, with that soulful undertone so classic of old westerns. I've been a Steam Powered Giraffe fan for years now, but from now on, when I think of Wild-West-style Robots, this album will be the first thing to come to mind! The lore, the adventure, not to mention the masterful editing! Pluff, everything you make brings a smile to my face. You're brilliant in so many ways and it's always a blast catching you in the chat during your album premier streams! You're one of the most talented and creative people on the internet, in my opinion, and I'm always excited to see what you've been working on! Keep being an inspiration, dude, you're doing amazing!
Congratulations! You have been awarded one (1) certificate pertaining to: Confirmation of Banger due to your contribution of: Sick Beats to: My Ear Holes
My man, you _need_ to get in contact with Ludeon Studios. This gives me Rimworld vibes so vivid I can practically hear the crimes against nature occurring in the butcher's room.
For some reason, Town Ain't Big Enough didn't really click for me standalone, but the album totally comes together when I listen to it back-to-back. Great stuff right here.
You make incredible mashups and that's what most folks seem to pay attention to. But this is my favorite of the albums you've done. The vibes are immaculate.
This was amazing, as always, pluff! We love your content, and this was worth the (somewhat short) wait after Town Ain't Big Enough. Having lore is pretty fuckin nifty as well
town ain’t big enough has a section that reminds me of the black ops 2 multiplayer menu theme... man if there’s any way to pander to that nostalgia for a lawless era on the internet, it’s probably that. not to mention how it does a spectacular job at hyping up the badassery to come. idk if it was intentional or not but *damn* does it sound great
I can almost hear the whistles in "Town ain't big enough" as some cyborg dueling you with his revolver in the future as the rain hits the ground and the neon lights of a future western bar light up everything in a pink haze of light and the song blares from a nearby club as you two have a shoot out no one can hear of the sounds of this fucking banger
Not a bad album. Probably give it a 6 out of 10. It's fun to listen to but there's nothing here that I haven't heard before. The last track stood out due to how closely it resembled neofolk, a genre I very much enjoy. It has the most distinct sound out of the songs on the album. The main issue that I had though is that almost every song causes my mind to flash to other artists that I regularly listen to, this even occurred with for my stand out track. Also, many of the songs are quite repetitive, which honestly is something that is a recurring criticism I have for your music. The last bit that irked me was the fact that some of the songs just suddenly end without any type of proper fade out, its as though the audio track is missing the final 10 seconds or so. The jolt from one song that is not quite over to the beginning of another song is very jarring. That extra bit of time really helps wrap the song up neatly for the listener. To recreate what I mean find an album, any one will do, and have a friend skip the end of the song anywhere from 10 to 20 seconds before it ends properly. It was quite hard to find anything unique enough or at level of quality that would bring me back to this EP in the future. This might not be my favorite bit of music you've done but that doesn't mean I won't be back to check out whatever is next. Keep goin strong.

Are you hoping to get a video game made of this some day?
"Lore", he says.
Hot damn, you made this more than lore. It's a world. It's alive. And God saw that it was good.
After reading the lore, I absolutely get the feeling of a story being told throughout the song itself. I'd love to see the lore animated as a short film to this album, sorta like how Interstella 5555 was made.
can i use this to make a game
ill call it cyberdystopia lost saloon
So...When's the movie comin' out Hoss?
Everyone says this isn't a mashup. I disagree. Previously, Pluff mashed songs together. Now he's mashing GENERES together. He's evolving.
Becoming bigger, better, faster, stronger
he's *revolving
ah, my favourite genre
spaghetti code western
I'm actually upset that I didn't think of this.
Reading that lore while Los Diablos played was something else lol. This album sounds amazing so far!
It'll get ya!

we didn't know what he was capable of at the time
we should have known better

I also voted "probbably not", and yet here I am having bought the music. cybercowboy music is the whole of my hierarchy of needs

Not mashups but some pretty good original western type beats.
Adding this to my space western playlist along with the Rimworld, Titanfall, and Firefly OSTs
Don't forget to add the Starbound Novakid theme and related.

Honestly it really gives me enter the gungeon vibes with its artstyle and electronic-western aesthetic

Mr pluff really came back with one of the best pieces he ever made and an entire fuckin album
jaw: dropped. hips: movin
This honestly sounds like the OST of a Cyber-western Zelda-like and I would play the fuck out of it.
Morning comes absolutely smacks
My man, you _need_ to get in contact with Ludeon Studios. This gives me Rimworld vibes so vivid I can practically hear the crimes against nature occurring in the butcher's room.
Okay the metal slug "Let's go!" At the drop in shoot out was awesome.
Bangers like this make me proud to be a Texan

So is this genre electro-spaghetti-western? I'm so here for it. This is quality.
Man, Shootout is like a Red Alert 2 song, I love it!
Ok well now I wanna make a tabletop campaign about future cowboys.
This man comes out of hiatus, gives us baby im back 5, and then drops this monster album on us. Legend status

I can picture the video game that goes with this album whenever I listen to this.
Good lore you came up to
Outta Meme City and strolling into Los Diablos, the king is back ❤
Listening to this music makes me better at Rainbow 6: Siege. Thanks for this amazing album man, it sounds great!
Will the individual songs be posted separately?
cant wait for a game collaboration with this. feels like 5 different missions with an opening and ending cutscene
I thought of the same thing, it really sounds like an old game called Future Cop
I''ve replaced serveral audio files in Enter The Gungeon with this albums tracks.
The game went from a solid 8 to a 14 1/2.
This really reminds me of some of the tracks from Bastion.
yes, just yes
Very well done!
Now, the next step is to chart this for clone hero! 😊
I LOVE YOU PLUFF ❤
Edit: now i want this album used in a movie ASAP
somewhere in nevada...

Are the gun SFX in Shootout from Metal Slug? They sound like the SFX from Metal Slug.
Electro western slaps
This is fucking amazing
I just imagined an entire game that doesn't exist because of this album
Wait, isn't Morning Comes literally the Sacred Ordalia Grove theme from Momodora in the intro? Yoooo.
Curse me for not realising this had been published sooner!
Nice.
HECK YES
THIS IS FUCKING SICK
Will this be up on Spotify? I'm going to be listening to Shootout fuckin daily if this goes up on there.
The lore sounds like it would make for a great Doom-y boomer shooter.
Kinda sounds what you would hear in starbound
it’s real yeehaw hours, who’s up? 🤠
After Him hits different
THIS FUCKS SO HARD
Yo, Shootout slaps

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-haaaaaaaaw!
Love me Shootout! ♡
I need to be sure...does Final Duel use explorers of sky music?
In shootout the line "Here we go now" is that taken from JSRF?
Weirdly enough, I imagined this playing during a western styled version of Hotline Miami.
When on spotify??
COWBOY ACTION HEROICS
it almost sounds like Tron but with cowboys
Cowboy Hotline Miami? Hotline Houston?
yeehaw
idk i thought most of this was pretty meh, but the bassline on final duel was sick
My conspiracy theory is that pluffaduff is actually alpharad and nothing can change my mind
o7 for crawford
were you contracted to make an ost for a game or something this is all oddly offbrand for general meme bullshitery
