So, of course Princeton is steller; but thoes background harmonies are fantastic! Props to you guys. I'm doing a production of this now in NOLA and (next to "Money") I think this is my favorite number musically.
wow! Outstanding. I've always seen purpose as the most "magical" song in the show with the boxes coming to life. It gives that cartoons and magic feel. To see the whole world light up and sing too just adds so much more. As bad as avenue Q is, the magic lives on through Princeton regardless of how naive he is. He brings light to a sad world and his song echos throughout the town. Excellent and genius decision!
Avenue Q and its Sesame Street setting suggests that it is targeting the millenials and the array of issues that they face today. Seems to me that this song regarding Purpose may have even greater relevance for boomers, pre-retirees and active older adults in search for happiness as they ask 'who am i when i no longer have a job titles? What's next? ' This search for our life's work, our purpose has a primacy equal to or even greater than our need for financial and health fitness. Boomers listening to this number may realize that it may be time for their 50,000 mile checkup with their lives!
This is exceptionally good. Princeton's vocals are sublime.
Again, this is great! By far the best non-Broadway performance I've ever seen
Brilliant performance - and I loved how the scenery joined in! :-)
His name is Perry Sherman. In case somebody looked for that. c: It isn't shown in the description.

This song doesn't have a speed, it is played "freely" :)
I missed the box choreography
YAY A LEFT HANDED PUPPETEER!! unless the vid is just flipped :/
Grear vocals, but I really didn't like how dull they made the first half of the song.
It seems like it's the standard for licensed productions. I've seen this version multiple times now when watching local productions
