THIS. Ever since season 9, I've noticed that toxic fans have just latched onto any excuse to diminish / flame Eureka. This hasn't helped. I'm glad Asia apologized (maybe SOME of the damage can be undone), but as soon as I saw the shade my heart sank for Eureka because I knew the "fans" would be at her throat immediately.
There's a lot that won't be understood in a situation like this, the best we can do is hope both parties learn and move on. I hate seeing so much vitriol at a time when we should be celebrating drag

It seems a little silly to have staff working with a public figure without knowing who should and shouldn't be allowed in their space. Like... why on earth wouldn't they at the very least have a list of her co star's names. Just like someone should have at least pointed out the organizer's wife to you, someone should have made sure Eureka's staff knew who the season 9 & 10 girls were. This was sloppy on the part of Erueka's management.

Our instructor taught us to be disciplined and to have respect; however there were occasionally bad apples that would go out and try to randomly start problems because they thought they had something to prove. People are always looking to put the blame on someone because they're a big name rather than onto the people that cause the problems in the first place. Guys there would be security, ushers and contracted staff that the venue drag con is held at would be supplying. So... blame the staff if you'd like. They didn't leave people waiting hours on end waiting for Eureka to come back from lunch, several pee breaks, and whatever else reason. Next year, get into drag, get a chair, take pictures wirh fans. If you charge, realize YOUR FANS paid to get inside dragcon. They do want to see other queens and aren't all rich. The end.

I don't think Asia should apologize, it might have helped if she clarified things better but, as usual, I see this as the fans being messy and ready to fight. Fans always have to jump on social media and defend their queen (especially mid-season) and the nastiness ensues. I'll never understand why the community acts so eager to attack each other.
y’all sound so dumb saying this was scripted. eureka literally posted on twitter she loves asia a lot and this was all a big misunderstanding and she said she reached out to asia trying to let her know what really happened. i completely understand asia’s side and i heard a lot of the queens staff were really rude including trixies, maybe they should hire better staff.

Well... apparently Eureka's "staff" and her charging for an autograph (buying merchandise that was pricey before you get a chance to meet her) were an issue for a lot of DragCon attendees. So... blame the staff if you'd like. They didn't leave people waiting hours on end waiting for Eureka to come back from lunch, several pee breaks, and whatever else reason.
Next year, get into drag, get a chair, take pictures wirh fans. If you charge, realize YOUR FANS paid to get inside dragcon. They do want to see other queens and aren't all rich. The end.
