He is. Just needs to avoid unnecessary contact and stay healthy. Many times he's already picked up a first down yet takes contact. If he could add sliding when hits are coming he'd be much better off. He tends to always go down head first with people around his ankles and knees. Going down head first also exposes him to concussion risk. Slide or go out of bounds, take the first down, and be unscathed for the next play w/o taking contact.
His ability to make plays alive is exceptional. Definitely MVP

Not only did he have 5,000 yards and 50 Touchdowns but it’s the way he did it. Every week was a highlight reel. His 2018 highlights is a masterpiece.

Crazy how the Ravens went on a 6 game winning streak after losing to Cleveland. But there's a noticeable change in how the offense played twice this season. Showing signs of progression on the part of Lamar and the offense as a whole. The first noticeable step forward was Week 7 against the Lions. We had struggled offensively a lot the first 6 weeks of the season. Not a lot of passing TDs, Lamar was fumbling a lot, but we managed to come out 4-2 despite the issues. Then the Lions game came and we had our first offensive blowout of the season. Which was followed up two weeks later against the Seahawks who were playing well at the time. The 2nd noticeable shift we made was after the Bye Week. We were already on like a 2-game winning streak, but the way we played after the bye has been what has put Lamar in the MVP discussion with dominating wins against some of the best teams in the NFL. We're playing better now than we have all season and can beat anybody.
This lose restarts our streak.. which is a good thing. Go through our weak points. I believe monken will come up with new plays for the playoffs.
Excellent summary. Lamar, Monken and the WRs are really becoming a Lethal Weapon.
last year it took the defense a little while + a blockbuster trade to get it rolling and this year it's one of the best. Can't wait for this offense to come out firing on all cylinders next season

Nah. He didn't win in 2020, and he played 12 games in 2021 and 2022 and had no prayer of winning the MVP over Rodgers or Mahomes even if he had played the entire season.

*sb mvp joe, and he had Anquon Boldin and Torrey smith, and ray rice in the run game. That team was literally legendary and there wasn't a single hole there. Flacco didn't have to rely on anybody.

As a fan of exciting players, Lamar is definitely part of an elite core of runners that include the likes of Jim Brown, Gale Sayers, Walter Payton & Emmitt Smith.

Throughout all the seasons Lamar has played, when we're winning by enough, in the last quarter, Tyler gets it. So if you can look at it that way, it was thanks to Lamar that Tyler got to play at all.

lamar’s run heavy play style in previous seasons caused a lot of injuries but now with todd monken at oc, we use lamar’s speed to stay in the pocket and dodge tackles. it’s incredible what he does on the field and as a raven fan i’m so happy bro is my qb 🙏
I hope we get to watch him pop off in the playoffs for the next couple of years now that the offense is clicking 💯

Fookin amazing man. Although he has been able to become a pocket passer now, I’ve always loved how he becomes Houdini, when the pocket breaks down. He then runs by players as if they are on a treadmill. We have been blessed to see the great ones, but, there is no doubt, Lamar has to be one of the greatest ever. What’s crazy is it’s still early.

This man is different. He reminds me of the elementary coach who played full time QB against the 10 year old's. He is the most dominant player I've ever seen of any position. He found it. He can read defenses now, he can punish the blitz, he can outsmart the zone, he can destroy man, outwit spy, and still make you look stupid with the perfect setup. His athletic prowess is now surpassed by his QB IQ, and given that he's the best athlete on the field is a scary proposition. I see him winning MVP, and Superbowl MVP this year and anything else is a bust. What an absolute machine.
I remember thinking that Jax, SF, MIA would be a murderer's row and that we would be lucky to get out of it with two wins. I didn't expect us to dominate them by a combined score of 112-45 (with much of the opposition scoring in garbage time). This team has outscored the three division leaders it has faced by an average of 20.67 points per game.
