The game is complete. These mods are cool, but they are just quickly created unbalanced things that dont fit the native game. People with thousands of hours love to bash on Taleworlds, but they are much better than many other devs & publishers
@@ivan200804 I constantly have random issues with my game that usually happen when I’m hours into a playthrough I know that they are trying their best to fix it but it gets tiring to have to constantly search through the internet for hours on end trying to fix a very specific issue that almost no one else has experienced
Talewords promised us this before the game released. They finally decided not to do it, because it would take too much time for them as it could be too difficult to implement, so of course, in mount and blade fashion, one person had to do it, someone who also already has/had other projects on his hand.
@@Iamthegreatestofalltime the way it was supposed to be is you would be able to make your own castle. I don't think they planned anything for town creation too. I'm not sure how that would work with villages, they haven't said much or my brain is not braining
@@JacobG4lantit wasn’t too much work they stated this in one of their blogs but I can’t remember what they said all i remember that it wasn’t “too much work” or “complicated work” it’s probably for balancing reasons and when it comes to talewords I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the actual reason. If only i could go back to these blogs and look for it but it would take me an unreasonable amount of time. All i remember was my disappointment when they announced in one of their blogs that castle building is not possible before the game got released.

Castle doesn't even give much benefit, set the date of construction to a year or two, make it so you need to deliver materials yourselves while paying a big buck, and most people will call making your own castle useless. If it's true, I have no idea what they were on while making that decision
This is insane to think if this is the same mod or a totally different one then the one we already have. Everyone wanted this feature.. now its here. To think I was expecting to see some progress next year I was completely wrong and this made my whole week. Mods like this change your experience forever. Edit: The only issue I have is that it is for the latest versions of the game while I have a full custom mod list for 1.2.9 hence I wont be able to try the mod and will wait till its compatible with the version of my game. Everytime I see a cool Bannerlord mod I'm like "woah that's so cool, maybe I should give this game another go !". Then I wonder if this mod will work with the latest game version. Then I also wonder if this mod will work others cool mods I have and I'm so used to since the vanilla version lacks so many important features. Then I remember all these "happy" moments testing mods compatibilities, trying to get the right versions, writing comments to mods authors, hoping for a quick reply, attempting to set a correct mods load order, experiencing crash after crash, and this for hours, sometimes days. Then I realise this mods nonsense was actually the reason why I ditched this game for good. Thank you TaleWorlds for not finishing your game.
Looks like a great mod. But I'm wondering if the town/castle scenes actually match up with where it is on the map? Like if you place the town beside a body of water will it actually look like that when you walk around?

In general, it’s cool that the mod works quite stably even in global modifications. It's a pity that the city textures only intersect and there is no height adjustment. I think they'll fix it. true but you can use it to fill up the spaces where nothing is there on the map there are plenty of empty spaces you can use to set up towns castles etc. take a look on the map.
I'm playing with this mod right now. It's pretty amazing!!! Is there a way to get the special troops in each faction? I'm trying to make a town and recruit Battania Archer.
Can you add more villages to existing towns? I think capital cities from every kingdom should have 5 villages. Also increase to 3 from those towns with 2 villages.
How stable is the mod? does it cause issues with diplomacy or such mods? Also, looks great, It looks like balance breaking in the best kind of way for creating a new kingdom or locking down annoying pc kingdoms.

Not sure if this is even possible but would there be a way to add walls to places. There could be the option of maybe connecting the walls between castles and if one of the castles fell then the walls on either side of it would break. Not sure if this is even possible but just smth I thought would be cool
Now I just need a raze settlement mod to get rid of those poor positioned vanilla settlements, probably better to burn the barbarian settlements to fix loyalty penalties. Great mod though
I use this mod before the update (of the workshop and better custom). Do the olive and fur village can be placed ? From my last test, those 2 are the only thing missing in the village build

Hi, I’m just trying to understand it says this mod is the latest version 1.2.11 which I did change on my steam but I can’t see the little click on the left corner to build a settlement. I’m wondering what I’m doing wrong? When I download your file, I use mod manager download the top one. It says version 1.2.11 When I look in Vortex it shows successfully installed. is there a hot key that I’m missing when I go in the game? I have to hit a certain button to activate the mod?
Yes, I downloaded Harmony UI extender EX Mod configuration menu BLSE, I think that’s all I need for your mod? When I go into a game and I start a new one, I don’t get that a little mark in the top left corner that opens up the menu. There’s nothing there. Now I read somewhere that you got to be past level four. But it still doesn’t show. It says it’s up-to-date and it’s the news version 1.21.1, I assume

Taleworlds haven't released a real content update in over a year and a half. They must be brewing a big project. Hopefully it's a bannerlord mod and not some new random game.
@@GamerX-zl4jl If your bannerlord version is 1.2.11 and it works without the mod, then it should work with it. If it doesnt, then it could be one of a hundred of things so unfortunately i dont know without having physical access to your computer.
Modders add this and TaleWorlds can not put more effort in vanilla banner creation 💀is so lame, limited to some colors, ugly symbols, not patrons, no customization really with something so basic

man I always wondered why the map is so barebones, in warband the companions and other npcs would tell you about the lands and kingdoms outside of calradia, I remember one guy told me something about how their nobles came to calradia to help the vaegir defend against the nords whenever they invaded calradia

I think what they had in mind was more like the homesteads mod rather than cities. Much like in VC.

village that produce noble troop has to be linked to a castle, not town

I didn't test it, but I believe it would just match up with whatever scene the model of the town was copied from.

I guess due to the game's code, villages need to be connected to a castle or town no matter what.
The only thing missing is a custom culture mod.
Cool concept, but i must admit with the world space availability its going to be hard finding that sweet spot for building your own empire
true but you can use it to fill up the spaces where nothing is there on the map there are plenty of empty spaces you can use to set up towns castles etc. take a look on the map.

Apparently it's compatible with eagle riding but not sure with RoT, probably not.

for the village cap of 5 villages per town? does this apply to castles as well? if so then castles will be very wealthy etc.

Install it manually with Nexus mods. Vortex is known to sometimes not work in bannerlord. Also, i'm not the mod author :)

Depends on the mod, but most should work. Mods that likely won't work are total conversion mods that mod the main map
