Noah...thanks so much, we tried our best to be accurate as possible! We too love all that Dollywood's Splash Country Water Park has to offer! 💙 💦 Also, we are always impressed by how focused the lifeguards keeping guest safe...great job! 👏
@@AdventureIsOutThere thank you so much! It’s an awesome job! This is my second season working at splash and I have loved every minute of it! This is the most in-depth and accurate videos I have seen regarding splash country!
Due to my husband's health we aren't getting to go on a real vacation this year and your videos are helping to make up for that. Thanks so much. Debbie
Loved it! This is the best video of Splash Country that I've seen. Gives us a very good feel for all the rides and where they are located so when we arrive, it will be easy to get around. Great job, thanks so much.
Funny enough, the bear fire tower giant bucket scared me as a little kid when I went here with some friends. I thought that if I was standing under the bucket and it dumped water on me, that I would get a concussion and die.
We hope it helps people who are planning at coming to Dollywood's Splash Country! I plan to do an updated version when they open back up in 2023. Thanks Tawna!
Great video! My family has visited a different water park the last few year and this year it's Dollywood's Splash Country. I find videos like this make planning so helpful. I do wonder what area is best for renting the chairs, the 2 person chairs? Like what area maybe has less traffic or which area has food, restrooms, etc nearby?
I’m guessing you likely already went. For future times to go and for anyone else wanting advice. You don’t necessarily need to rent the chairs bc there are a decent amount of chair around food place that you can sit and chill. There are also chairs around the kids areas. I think the best spot might be on kinda closer to the lazy river of if I remember correctly where they are. It might be a bit of a walk to the next food place but it’s not too bad. The park is fairly small so the walking distances from things usually aren’t too bad. Idk if there are the canopies around the kids area by the water coaster. That could help another pretty good spot. It’s not close to as many rides though
Thanks Nerds On The Go! Not as good as Cinnamon Bread, but has been fun to try with our annual pass meal plan as a fun snack at Dollywood's Splash Country!
I use a handicap scooter to get around, I have trouble walking long distance. Would I be able to still enjoy the park? Such as the wave pool and the lazy river?
Have you seen this video yet? We break down all the retreat/cabana locations: th-cam.com/video/8Mgb_vTqyfk/w-d-xo.html It is much warmer now in July! Let us know if you have any other questions, we are happy to help!
Thank you! Going saturday with my family (weve been before but never seen the whole park) Very informative!! Ps. we will not do any of the belly slides because my dad is 6'8 Pps. is there any height directions on Bear Mountain Fire Tower? Thank you!
Glad it helped & we hope you have a great time Saturday! Did you mean fire tower falls (very tall slide). There is no maximum height limit on it: www.dollywood.com/waterpark/rides/fire-tower-falls/
There are lockers throughout the park. We have never used them, we just bring in the essentials we need into the park and leave things we don't in the car. But if you want to lock something up, that is available.
I don't believe so, I think there is a minimum height requirement for all riders. I could confirm that after May 13th when they open back up. I will be doing an updated park tour after that.
Curious about that traffic pileup in your intro. Is it typical to wait a long time just to get into the park? We have about a 3 hour drive so I'm trying to figure out how much time to allow for travel and getting in. Thanks!
Robo, we personally like Splash better. We will be at Soaky Mountain this upcoming Friday and I will be filming a full tour of that park. Look for a Splash Country vs. Soaky Mountain video to come out next week! ~Ryan
I am pretty sure you can't. There is a minimum & maximum weight limit and I don't recall I have ever seen anyone ride alone. I could be wrong, but think they would place you with another party if you were alone.
Yes, height requirements are posted at each entrance. They should be listed on the website too. I plan to be there this year on opening day & will try to capture that for each ride.
Hediye, when you first enter the park there is a height measurement station right by the photo booth. Any other height/weight min/max are posted at line queues.

As a plus size person what are the weight limits on the rides?

I was part of the design team on the Cascades. Getting everything to fit that you see, and don’t see, was a fun challenge.
One of our favorite areas of the park, you did a fantastic job! 👏
This was a great video. Loved that showed different things. The life jackets for the kids. I haven’t seen that on any other video. Great job!
k Hans, We hope it helps people trying to get a better idea of what's inside Dollywood's Splash Country. Thanks for the kind feedback!

Thanks R Seymour! I plan to do an updated 2023 tour when it opens back up!
Splash Mountain looks like fun! Getting on an inertube and going down the lazy river looks relaxing.
It's a VERY relaxing water park to me. We plan to be there a lot this next summer & will do an updated 2023 tour video when it opens back up RL.
Funny enough, the bear fire tower giant bucket scared me as a little kid when I went here with some friends. I thought that if I was standing under the bucket and it dumped water on me, that I would get a concussion and die.
Me, my brother, my best friend, and my mom are going on Friday! I’m really excited.
Awesome, try to get there early to get a good spot & head straight for the slide(s) you want to do the most! - Ryan & Brie
Thanks for this awesome video! What a great run down for someone who's trying to decide if they should go or not!
Our pleasure Lacey! We will have an updated 2023 version come out when it opens back up in May!
Thanks for your review on Dollywood's Splash Mountain!!

Thanks for sharing, nobody else has showed the water park. Glad I ran across it

great video, super informative. well shot, too!

@@AdventureIsOutThere that cinnamon bread is amazing, I really like it with the apple butter.
How are the crowds during mid June? Is it worth purchasing the Time Saver H20 or Unlimited?
I'm going there this summer because it sounds so fun 😁
👍
My brothers moving to Nashville in a few weeks, hopefully the family can go this summer. Awesome video great information
Thanks Kathy! Glad it helped! -Ryan & Brie
im going on friday and this was super helpful thx
So glad it was helpful! 👍🏻 Have a great time at Dollywood’s Splash Country! 💦
You have a pleasant voice and you have a dolly blessed day to.
A lot of people say I sound like Mr. Rodgers...thanks Barrett!
We have a grandson with a severe dairy allergy. Recommendations while at Dollywood and at Water Park?
Hey Cathy, we just put this food guide together. We hope it helps!

do you guys recommend this to me someone who may be going to splash country soon I am 10 so ya'll know what rides I could go on
When is a good time to go for less crowds and shorter lines?
Good 👍 content Thanks for the share
Thanks DP! I will be doing A LOT more Dollywood content as an insider this season! ~Ryan
@@AdventureIsOutThere sounds good 👍
we are planning on going in May ngl and it looks so much fun!
One of your comments said you like the slower slides, which sounds just like me. Which ones do you recommend for non thrill seekers?
Pretty much everything except fire tower falls is doable IMO.
Great info and video!
Who far is this water park from Gatlinburg if I stayed in Gatlinburg?
Thanks! From here to the Aquarium in Gatlinburg is 16 minutes.
Thank you
I use a handicap scooter to get around, I have trouble walking long distance. Would I be able to still enjoy the park? Such as the wave pool and the lazy river?
They revamped the kids area (Little Creek Falls) to make it wheelchair accessible, so I don't see why not. Feel free to call Dollywood to confirm.
If you had to pick a location to rent a retreat:cabana with 7-10 yo where would u recommend? And do u think the water will be warm in July
Have you seen this video yet? We break down all the retreat/cabana locations: th-cam.com/video/8Mgb_vTqyfk/w-d-xo.html

I’ve been to Dollywood and splash country I love them so much. I wish I did not have to leave.😅

Yes I meant Fire Tower Falls! Thank you so much!
Great video. My kids all went while I stayed back with my wife. She doesn't swim.
Thanks Vegas!
I'm leaving today to there, wanted to see what all they had to offer. I'm a big fan of water parks then theme parks
We like Dollywood's Splash Country! We hope you have a great time toasty!
@@AdventureIsOutThere thanks
I live in Texas and there’s splashway and splashtown
👍
Where do you put your stuff that can't get wet . Keys , money etc
There are lockers throughout the park. We have never used them, we just bring in the essentials we need into the park and leave things we don't in the car. But if you want to lock something up, that is available.
For the family rides could I hold my 3 month old on those rides?
I don't believe so, I think there is a minimum height requirement for all riders. I could confirm that after May 13th when they open back up. I will be doing an updated park tour after that.
How much Is is it per person?
Hey Sara, I show the current pricing in this video: th-cam.com/video/mcLSrPv1R0w/w-d-xo.html
When I hear the word “Dollywood” I immediately Think of the Mystery mine soundtrack
Curious about that traffic pileup in your intro. Is it typical to wait a long time just to get into the park? We have about a 3 hour drive so I'm trying to figure out how much time to allow for travel and getting in. Thanks!
That is during the middle of summer with both parks open. If the parks open at 10am, I would suggest arriving by 9-9:30am. -Ryan
@@AdventureIsOutThere Thanks
Would that go for the trolley as well?
Is this better than the soaky mountain water park ?
Robo, we personally like Splash better. We will be at Soaky Mountain this upcoming Friday and I will be filming a full tour of that park. Look for a Splash Country vs. Soaky Mountain video to come out next week! ~Ryan
i love bollywood and the water park
We love Dollywood & Splash Country too!
Can a single rider go on the water coaster?
I am pretty sure you can't. There is a minimum & maximum weight limit and I don't recall I have ever seen anyone ride alone. I could be wrong, but think they would place you with another party if you were alone.
@@AdventureIsOutThere OK, appreciate it!
I went down the green slides with the orange one in the middle and I went in the green one and I said "Oh sh#t oh funk! Yep not doin' that again "
Lesson learned! I tend to stick with the open and not too fast water rides 💦👍
"REEEEEEE"
What the price of the entrance?
Dollywood.com should have current prices Wilma.
How much chlorine do they use a day🤔
🤷♂️
Is there height requirements on some of the slides?
Yes, height requirements are posted at each entrance. They should be listed on the website too. I plan to be there this year on opening day & will try to capture that for each ride.
They won't let you wear water shoes. Atleast not the last time I went
What are the height limits for family rides etc? Does the map specify height limit for each ride before getting in line
Hediye, when you first enter the park there is a height measurement station right by the photo booth. Any other height/weight min/max are posted at line queues.
Is there anything for people in wheelchairs?
A new area is under construction & will be open this year. Stay tuned for our updated 2022 tour video!
I can't believe how expensive it is to get a bag of chips and bread for 8.00! I'll never be able to afford it 😭!
Some people eat lunch outside, we love utilizing their dinning plan that gets us a meal every time we go, its a fantastic value!
@@AdventureIsOutThere what is the dinner plan?

Splash Country, where you get to see 450lb women in bikinis….and that’s the mild part of what you’ll see. 🤮
