  • Love McPherson reminds us all that it starts with your speech and how you talk to yourself. 1 Corinthians 13:11 says, “When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.“
Be encouraged today that no matter your upbringing or background, YOU ARE STRONG AND MIGHTY!

I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. The holly spirit is guiding me and I will start preaching in God’s name one day to bring this gift of true love and happiness to less fortunate and lost souls.Amen ❤❤❤❤🙏

Thank you Jesus. Hyper independence/survival mode: high ACE score and all, disorganized attachment style, perfectionism. PREACH!!! Abuse vs long suffering vs neglect! WOW: need vs want (codependency). Contempt=lack of respect/pride. Therapy aint in the budget but doing what I can. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

I most of the time, pause the messages, and I might continue listening to it later. However, these EXTRAORDINARY words glued me to the seat. I feel she was talking to me and my family.

Glory be to God, yes, that inner child wounds need to be healed before getting into relationships, hence why singleness is such an important season. 😊

I have this saying. After experiencing foster care on both sides, children are doing with children are supposed to do when dealing with their independent thoughts. Is the adults are not doing what they’re supposed to be doing. Especially when you have those ones that think they can parent your child better than you can. And then they find out shortly. That’s why the parent gives that show a certain length of rope. So that show choices and thoughts may have more positive outcomes than negative outcomes. I have use the rope theory many times. Working in the public schools, daycare, coaching assisting youth in foster care.

Truth!! So good!! (Where was this kind of truth when I was a pre-teen? Would have been great help! But God knows the “curriculum” needed to create the kingdom purpose He has for me.)

Wow. This spoke right to me. The way she broke down the development by age was a revelation of my life.
“Be kind to yourself”. Something I need to do desperately. I couldn’t control what was done to me as a child but I can control what I do to myself.
    Thank you Love 🙌🏽🙏🏽🫶🏽

I'm gonna share something very personal I remember the first time I had Recess what we are supposed to go outside and play and take a break from class and when I went Outside I didn't Know how to play. I never been around other children except my alfa sister that protected me and she was in her own classroom. And I wondered if she was feeling like did so up until that point i didnt know how to play with other children, we didn't have any toys. One thing I had was my big wheel. I had my bicycle and I knew how to ride a bicycle. Now we had these bicycles out there on the playground. And I remember that's all I would wait for but by the time I would get outside. Because I wasn't used to being outside either. That i'd have to wait and watch The Other kids play. I had to watch the other children to learn how to use the monkey bars. How to go down a slide how to swing and just be a kid. But see today. God is showing me how to love. How to except love from others and feel trust and feel safe
