This is correct, the game is really not that good compared to bt3. It should have just copied bt3 exactly the way it was. Right now, people are only trying to mimic what you could do in bt3, which is not working well.
No matter how hard I try I can’t get behind the opponent with that up and x dash my dash keeps finishing I don’t know what I am doing wrong how do I get behind him
The timing is probably a 1 frame link, this MUCH harder than it looks, delaying as much as you can means that if you miss time it you will do a short dash instead of the delay dragon dash, if you never get that short dash while trying it you're doing the dash too early

There is also a new reset tech with HSDD where you can use the homing attack on cqc to reset any combos from any stuns, and due to the fact you can charge it for super long its vanish window is unpredictable. You should do a quick short on this one too.
This is a sick. Have you played a lot around the new dash mechanic? I've found you can use it within the step in barrier and do a quick cancel using ki blast + analogic stick to carry the momentum to position your character behind them. The input is tight but my god the flanking is fast af
@@Geta92 That's cool af. It sucks that it can't be used as consistently upclose because it pretty much is when you put distance between you and your opponent. Unfortunately they have the time to move around whenever the attempt is from long range.
It’s Perfect Smash, you have to hold Square and let go when the character starts glowing If it’s done correctly you will vanish and hit them from behind
@ really? Movement in what kind of way? Since sidestepping has always been good and has become even more prevalent since the buffs. General dashing around hasn’t really been changed drastically and isn’t relevant. And the ascending/descending elevatoring was only really bad when it was pre patch Androids 19-20..
@@rhett3185 I think the devs don't want players to be able to get super close to the opponent off 1 bar all the time, which is why it's 2 bars now but ofc this is all just assumptions, the patch notes didn't explain why this change was made

I think it requires frame perfect timing but I could be wrong, this is probably the hardest thing to do in the game right now

I’ve seen that but I couldn’t manage to make it quick enough to make sure it’s harder to react to, I was most likely doing it wrong anyway
I've posted a few clips of that on Reddit a few days ago. I agree, it's busted. But the timing is so insanely tight, it might as well not exist.

my dragon dash is too low and It gets cut, do you know why?

And with the old dragon dash cancel they recover too quickly, i just can't get It to work if they block
The timing to get it is extremely precise, it’s easier to do off Throw, you have to do the dash as late as possible
For the old dragon dash cancel try to perform it much faster, and make sure you do an angled dragon dash or else you won’t get close fast enough

I think that was mainly nerfed to restrict movement, I’ve seen a lot of players complain about Z-Burst Dash before the patch
