Miramar es un sector muy bonito en el corazón de Santurce y colinda con “ La Parada 15” área que se ha vuelto muy popular enter los jóvenes y turistas, en donde celebran Santurce es Ley, actividad donde los grafiteros pueden plasmar su arte por las calles de este barrio. I have not been to Santurce since 2020. My impression then was less than great. Yes its a place of good street art and funky restaurants and bars, but overall, its just a junky part of San Juan that is trying to identify as being gentrified. If you don't watch where you walk, you will for sure trip over an obstacle on the side walk and hurt yourself. If you like listening to neighborhood bars blasting awful repetitive music until 4am every night, this might be the place you want. Otherwise, stick to day trips and find out for yourselves if you like the place. And it's not cheap! People seem to think the neighborhood is extra special. I don't agree!
