This collection was positively beautiful. Also, Black women truly take the color yellow up a notch. Seeing Adut in that last look brightened up my day.
The only designer besides Clare Waight Keller that respect the heritage of the brand they are designing for. Mr. Valentino must be proud! Gorgeous show
It's been so long since the last time I felt a couture collection full of emotions, this was perfect, love the volume of some dresses mixed with the heavy hairdo and heavy makeup, not a combination that goes together. But what a wonderful show from PPP, the music from Maria Callas made this even more wonderful. BRAVO!
Thank you so much! That's exactly what I thought! In the first few years when MG was co-designing, a lot of people felt sad and wondered worriedly such a great fashion house fast became a dress shop, although an expensive one. Now we know the reason was MG...
I got teary eyed just by watching this breathtaking haute couture show. This is by far the best show i've ever seen. Thank you so much for this collection.
After such stressful day, I come home to see this and all of a sudden I'm happy again, like I've been transported into a dream world where everything is beautiful. Pier Paulo is an absolute master, a designer with a mesmerising mind who keeps getting better season after season. We're seeing him truly shine on his own and sometimes I feel bad because of the obvious compassion that will be made to what's happening at Dior but he is very unapologetic about his vision and I say more grease to his elbow. He's established his codes, which have become very clear with this collection but he is in no way repetitive, it always evolves into something new each time. This is the highlight of couture week for me, once more. Bravo Pier Paulo, Bravo!
Pierpaolo by himself is really taking the couture level at Valentino so high!! This and the last couture collection had been memorable, he is indeed a master
There is something quite interesting about Pierpaolo being at the helm of the Maison and it`s the fact that you can feel how passionate and devoted he is to the craft, I follow him on social media and the amount of love he has for his couturières is something amazing to watch, at the end you can tell that every collection is a labor of love and joy for fashion, as a result we end up with this breathtaking collections, filled with volume, color, prints and showcasing perfect skill. Pierpaolo once again proves that he can be innovative but still show respect for Mr. Valentino's heritage and design codes, hands down the best show of the entire season.
Gorgeous.... beyond gorgeous .... so opulent without all the gimmicks... this is the truest haute couture so breathtaking .... Valentino must be so very proud with this opulent collection.. bravo PPP ❤️
This collection is absolutely sublime. I wake up everyday and watch this piece of art to start my day. I am happy and grateful that I was in Paris during the Haute Couture 2018/19 season. I wish I could have seen this show live, because the craftsmanship on the garments, even on screen is impeccable! Pierpaolo's work is genius and he's collections are a work of art. The marriage of the beautiful collection, backdrop of the Hotel Salomon de Rothschild, the diversity & beauty of the models, and the classical background vocals by Maria Callas is breathtaking! I will make sure I do attend the Valentino Haute Couture 2019/20 collection next year. I look forward to seeing more work from him. I am ever delighted and happy to see his amazing work. Magnifique!
I have always love and respect Valentino. He cleverly associates colours, prints and designs to bring out the utmost best in his Haute Couture collection and he always makes women feels beautiful......Bravo !!!
Glad to see someone has still got it! Beautiful display of colour, shape, and diverse femininity. I’m in love with the fabrics and exceptional use of themes in the show. Inspired!
The best of Paris Haute Couture this season no doubt. It is as strong as Paulo’s last couture show last january. Breathtaking, magical, divine and beyond.
This collection has everything that we need. The drama, technique, craftsmanship and also the way the collection really synergised with the music is wonderful. I love the way Pierpaolo played with volume, forms and structure and he really respected the heritage of the brand. Also, some of the gowns with satins are killer and the last dress which was wore by Adut Akech was bomb. I'm kinda speechless right now because Pierpaolo has brought me into another couture fantasy.
One word...AMAZING..!!! Feels like watching a miracle in fashion. The collection is like a dreamy wearable dresses. Every pieces are stunning. I'm sure every single stylist will fight to get all the red carpet dresses during award season. This is what we call HAUTE COUTURE
Hands down the best show along with Givenchy. The designers know the brand! So much respect! The silhouettes can be used in Balenciaga!!! Magnifique Pier Paulo!!
Beautiful collection!! The play on volume and proportion was stunning and those models! Gorgeous color and the diversity really made it shine. He is amazing.
One this is clear, Pierpaolo knows what people want to see during Haute Couture season, and for every other season for that matter. They want a big, ruffled, dramatic, color explosion fantasy, and he is willing to give it to them. He knows the game well. While his ultra-feminine, soft, dreamy aesthetic is really taking the house where it needs to go....and while this was unabashedly pretty...I found it was a bit too textbook haute couture, and I didn't find it too terribly modern. Massive ruffle here, a thousand tiers of feather-light ruffles there, massive all-encompassing ballgown here, a cascade or marabou there....I understand the expectation for his position, but I feel like haute couture is an opportunity to really push the boundaries of fashion. I think haute couture is an opportunity to propel fashion forward so that ready-to-wear can move forward a bit more comfortably. This looks back a little to much for my taste. There were some beautiful pieces in there, those hand-embroidered micro sequins, that beautiful pink satin robe (the second look), the drop waist sage green gown with that incredible floral headdress, and of course those hand-embroidered golden gowns....but all in all, I wait for something beyond what Pierpaolo is used to.
PatisserieBoy I agree with you .. even I don't see any cohesion between dresses. it's like a very very more refine "Gucci" . How you say : he is giving what people(Young) want to see
@Ro Grant you're right too.. and the sad part is ,because this kind of approach from certains Houses to young generation ( millennials how it's say now) ,they don't understand or know what is about "haute couture" .
I have been watching fashion shows religiously for the last 25 years now, and have often been amazed by what some designers put out-especially so at Valentino since PP Piccioli and MG Chiuri took over-but never, NEVER mesmerized the way this collection has. It is a dream from the very first second to the last.
His execution is incredible. The volume those dresses have. He is such a talented designer. With the outrageous shapes that he does you would think he'd have a harder time keeping it cohesive, but he performs better than Maria at Dior as a storyteller. This is what couture is all about.
Bravo! He gets better season after season. Modern, fresh and joyful. I love how he goes for the print and the proportions without hesitation! Modern and architectural lines without it feeling matronly or dated for a second. I also loved how he gave other options (the tops, pants and shorts) along with the ball gowns, he clearly understands that his client lives in 2018 not 1918!
these clothes made me smile 😁. I love the colors❤, it is a very gutsy collection where it can go wrong easily. The embroidery on alot of these pieces are divine😍😍😍.
Wonderful, colourful and inventive, with emotional and intellectual depth. Unfortunately too many of the models looked like children in their mothers clothes and not just the ones in the wigs. The collection deserved/needed some mature women to maintain the integrity of the designs.
Very imaginative and skillfully made, but look at what the ladies of the audience are wearing. The idea of dressing is to give the woman a stage to be beautiful and shine. Very few of these hit the mark for me.
This collection was positively beautiful. Also, Black women truly take the color yellow up a notch. Seeing Adut in that last look brightened up my day.
Yes beautiful
Amberley Smith o gees yes!!
Everything about that last section was PERFECT, model diversity, breathtaking dresses
I think it’s safe to say this is the best show of the season. So beautiful and very close to perfect.
Stannis Baratheon it IS perfect! 💚
It's beautiful! I personally loved Givenchy as well. Definitely my two favorite. Givenchy men's show was wonderful
margiela tho
Best show of the season? I couldn't disagree more with you.
Bogdan Kolchenko romans royal luxury perfect
The only designer besides Clare Waight Keller that respect the heritage of the brand they are designing for. Mr. Valentino must be proud! Gorgeous show
agreed
Valentino himself was brought to tears.. Ppc is the best cotourier right now
me too. totally agree oh and 12:43
Chaise Dennis what about Bertrand Guyon (schiaparelli)?
Now THIS is the couture moment we all waited for this season.
It's been so long since the last time I felt a couture collection full of emotions, this was perfect, love the volume of some dresses mixed with the heavy hairdo and heavy makeup, not a combination that goes together. But what a wonderful show from PPP, the music from Maria Callas made this even more wonderful. BRAVO!
Valentino is making better and better couture since María is gone, maybe Pierpaolo has total freedom now. I don't know but I adore it.
Thank you so much! That's exactly what I thought! In the first few years when MG was co-designing, a lot of people felt sad and wondered worriedly such a great fashion house fast became a dress shop, although an expensive one. Now we know the reason was MG...
Damian Rhea long live to Valentino ♥️♥️
I got teary eyed just by watching this breathtaking haute couture show. This is by far the best show i've ever seen. Thank you so much for this collection.
Same here...

Je vois qu'on s'est apprécie l'art de la creation et qu'on n'en parle avec grâce.
Pierpaolo by himself is really taking the couture level at Valentino so high!! This and the last couture collection had been memorable, he is indeed a master
This was the most breathtaking show of the season!
This makes me wanna cry, such an amount of magic and history all together. Iconic fashion moment .
Valentino himself was crying at the end of the collection, I can not find a better compliment for Pierpaolo work... Poor Maria Grazia
if the gesture moved me to tears I can only imagine what it did for Pierpaolo
The best of all couture shows!
Wow Kaia's dress and hair 😍 and that last orange piece is the best

Gorgeous colors and flow of garments. Also, the blends, textures are UNBELIEVABLE
With no doubt. Best show of this season!🖤🖤
The winning collection. The print, the colour, the gown ... Everything. Salute!
Finally!! REAL Couture !!
OMG finally a worthy show for the house of Valentino... He was so proud of the clothes that bares his name. I am so grateful....
Gorgeous.... beyond gorgeous .... so opulent without all the gimmicks... this is the truest haute couture so breathtaking .... Valentino must be so very proud with this opulent collection.. bravo PPP ❤️
Kaia's dress.... WOW
yessssss
Me daban ganas de aplaudir con cada vestido y luego llega Kaia y Woww...... Por cierto estuvo Mariana Zaragoza ahí?
What I adore about the brand is that every single garment has the look of luxury and elegance. And Adut is so dreamy in that orange. 😍😍😍
brought tears to my eyes

pierpaolo's color sense is spectacular. in addition to everything else that is stunning about this collection.
I have always love and respect Valentino. He cleverly associates colours, prints and designs to bring out the utmost best in his Haute Couture collection and he always makes women feels beautiful......Bravo !!!

Impressive, esp. the orange gown at the end! Wonderful!
The best of Paris Haute Couture this season no doubt. It is as strong as Paulo’s last couture show last january. Breathtaking, magical, divine and beyond.
This is absolutely magical, brought back what couture really is .
I couldn’t stop crying watching this show bravo bravo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Omg hands down the best haute couture show this season once again.
Italians know how to do it!
d&g dont...
Apparently not maria grazia chiuri
dolce and gabbana lol. they are more like market based brand than heritage.
True, neither Maria Gratzia
One word...AMAZING..!!!

Un bel di vedremo the most beautiful Aria ever written. Fitting for a beautiful collection in the spirit of Valentino himself.
Hands down the best show along with Givenchy. The designers know the brand! So much respect! The silhouettes can be used in Balenciaga!!! Magnifique Pier Paulo!!
The best show of the season, without a doubt. Stunning. Absolutely beautiful x
Beautiful collection!! The play on volume and proportion was stunning and those models! Gorgeous color and the diversity really made it shine. He is amazing.
Exquisite from beginning to end - those coats and capes dare one to have a life upgrade for couture!

Wonderful, colourful and inventive, with emotional and intellectual depth. Unfortunately too many of the models looked like children in their mothers clothes and not just the ones in the wigs. The collection deserved/needed some mature women to maintain the integrity of the designs.
Beautiful gorgeous collection I absolutely loved this! ✨
What blue eyeshadow is used? It’s poppin. Such a beautiful collection I can see why Valentino is a top brand.
Very imaginative and skillfully made, but look at what the ladies of the audience are wearing. The idea of dressing is to give the woman a stage to be beautiful and shine. Very few of these hit the mark for me.
Beautiful Women & Great Fashion!
