You are PUMPING these out, like, I'm actually impressed- :0 I'm so very glad that your idea worked, I'm also hyped, hehe! X3 This one is really fun to watch, and very nicely done, as always. :P Even when you do things quickly, your art is still as cool as ever! XP Hopefully your motivation will stay this time, I can't wait to see your other ideas, they're also so awesome! :D
Awe, I’m sure they don’t end up horrible. Please don’t get discouraged. My animatics are far from the best, but I’d be happy to give advice! There’s no guaranteed formula. Different things work for different people. I guess if I had to give some tips it’d be to practice any chance you get, it took me my whole life to get here. And to know you will always be improving even if it doesn’t seem that way. Your best today isn’t gonna be the same as your best tomorrow. But don’t be afraid of getting better or hold on to tight to where you are in your process, because if you cling to your current art style because you already made things with it, you don’t let yourself improve. And for animatics never cut corners. Use as many frames as you feel is needed. Keep in mind the frame rate may change with the sound. Additionally one of the best things you can do is really try to study perspective and anatomy. A lot. Once you have that down drawing it is just like arranging the pieces that are already there. Things will look more natural and less stiff or messy. And always use steady lines. Also if you have a frame you’re only changing a tiny bit from the last one, don’t start from scratch, just duplicate the last frame and edit it. Make sure to utilize layers as much as possible, and reference back to old frames. Having a character sheet also helps with consistency. And don’t bite off more than you can chew. Animating, coloring and shading may be a bit much. Simplify colors and things like that. You don’t even have to use color. And above all just have fun! If you’re passionate about something you’re doing it’s bound to come out better! And if you’re curious about the software I use, I use procreate to draw and kinemaster to edit, and I use the script brush primarily in procreate. I hope any of this is close to the kind of answer you were looking for, and I wish you the best of luck! I know you’ll do awesome things, sooner than you think!
