You actually didn't, eitherway you should know how endurable / time taking such fights are, if you are pvping as an assassin. For all those those who are wanting to know what version of the game this is, It's the Russian private server. I would recommend the Chinese version with the English patch installed. Works like a charm & great ping from.....New Zealand, of all places.

And yes it is max level (before addon). In arena its a complete different story, there you have a variety of options. Its just that on open world you want to kill people fast before a 3rd person can interrupt you. On arena this combo will get you nowhere.

Hardest burst atm is in open world: come out of stealth stun them > fast hongmun shadow slash on left path (4 x hit) > throw ur 5 stack poison grenade (4) and let the stacks explode with bolt step. Got now full gear and alone with the bolt step I crit sometimes close to 20 k in open world pvp with 5 stacks, the hongmun shadow slash also is around 12-14 k is it crits with good gear. So the burst is comparable to the old air bomb. But yeah, most important in open world is gear

is it just me or the fps on the video isn't that good? It would be very important in a game like this. The graphical aspect of the game doesnt impress me too much either- which might be positive as it would require less powerful systems to run or gain fps
+Ater Boreal the graphics - fps rate is poorly in this game sadly, I can run black desert @ max settings and have more fps then in Blade and Soul. Also Black Desert doesnt get fps drops from mass players @ screen, in bns massive drops. Thats the biggest downside of bns sadly, somehow all ncsoft games suffer from this :/. In arena fps is fine tho

+Dark Side It's called open-world PvP because you can PvP anywhere in the game's world. Whether or not they're wearing the faction gear to PvP is a minute but irrelevant detail.
If they're wearing PvP gear while questing without knowing it's flagging them for PvP then they will learn when they get ganked by someone 20 levels higher. It's their own fault for not reading the outfit details.
When pvp wasnt about oneshotting ppl. Now it is just a mess. No balance at all. Even two low tier can oneshot u if u have no pvp gear and get backstabbed

if Open World PvP was *scale* like the arena.. Assassin will have a hard time killing. my lvl30 summoner beat a lvl45 destroyer and assassin and other low defense character is just a piece of cake, but Open World PvP is a different story. Scaling in Arena makes it boring when you have like 11 wins and 1 lose and hit gold rank in less then 30minutes without even trying and hit 4k critic on a destroyer. Thats why i like to go Open World PvP where there is no scaling. Arena would been much better if they just match character level and leave the character stats the same as when they are in open world.

Daniel Fahl This game is not at all p2w, you can have (if i remember correctly) 95% of the item of the cash shop with something else (but by spending a LOT of time playing the game). And for what i have hear, the game is balanced for the pvp part, it's like 75% based of your skills of a gamer. Sorry i'm not really good with English stuff.

The only thing leaked is the membership stuff for bonus loot/xp/currency that you can buy per month or get some from a founderspack. Other than that, the only game I ever played from NCSoft is Aion. It was fun in the beginning but was way to grindy. Couldn't tell if late game was p2w as I never got there. Besides the pvp, this game reminds me of Tera. Since it has the same stuff as any other mmo but with better pvp, I doubt it will be fun long. ArcheAge had alot more to offer, but it turned out bad real fast, im not saying 1 is better than the other, just that this is another old mmo made 7 years ago with the same shit we have had over the last 7 years. Through the pvp in ArcheAge and take out the cash shop and make the game p2p, it will have alot more fun, maybe less players who don't want a subscription. But it takes care of the kids, bots and alot of the p2w aspects. TL;DR: PvP looks fun, but besides that. how is this game different from any other 7 year old mmo?

+andrew phippen Nah it's not like that. You can only get attacked by people wearing faction clothes, and if you yourself are not wearing any, it's not possible for them to kill, or attack you. It's perfectly safe to walk around in normal clothes and not get attacked. Only when you wear faction clothing, and someone has on the opposing faction clothing will you be ganked, but then that's at your own discretion, since the game warns you of it. In this video people are getting ganked, but they know what's up, tis why they're wearing the suits.

+Falador321 Most video game have repetitive combat. You usually use your most powerful abilities over and over again. The problem with the new generation of MMO is that your character is basically only good at doing one thing. The same thing. Over and over again. It also often more about luck and you gear rather than pure skill and knowledge of every class. I mean there`s 8 class in the game lmao. We`re far from the 45 class of DaoC. In UO you had a mage book with over 60 spell. Of course you did not use all these spell during combat, but each spell was worth something. Your character was not locked into the same pattern. You also could be anything else. Being a simple warrior was fun. In DaoC you had positional and reactive combat abilities, realm abilities, artifact abilities. Daoc combat seem to be boring and slow for the untrained eyes. Unless you truly experienced it yourself. It was fast paced and strategic. A wizard could 3 -4 shot you in less than 6 sec. Yet all it took was to interrupt him. W wiz send a bolt of fire toward a shield wearing tank ? Engage him and take half the damage etc. Now you watch all these new mmo with shiny cool looking abilities, but it shallow when you play it. You realize how much limited the gameplay is. Because you`re stunlocked into the limitation of the gameplay mechanic. The thing is. These old game you actually had to prepare and manage yourself. That how you were successful in pvp. Now these game are all about spaming your most powerful abilities more often than he does. MMo are too much casual today. Too easy too learn and too fast to get bored with..

If you look just to the right of the top left corner, there is white text there that shows the FPS. May be hard to see/read on a phone though.

+Lenzie Evans its not forced, you dont want to play open world pvp then just dont wear the faction outfit, simple as that. (takes 5 seconds to unequip though to prevent trolling)
At least now I know how bad PVP is in this game.
if Open World PvP was *scale* like the arena.. Assassin will have a hard time killing. my lvl30 summoner beat a lvl45 destroyer and assassin and other low defense character is just a piece of cake, but Open World PvP is a different story. Scaling in Arena makes it boring when you have like 11 wins and 1 lose and hit gold rank in less then 30minutes without even trying and hit 4k critic on a destroyer. Thats why i like to go Open World PvP where there is no scaling. Arena would been much better if they just match character level and leave the character stats the same as when they are in open world.
+Tewthpaste ... and you are talking as a summoner I suspect? Summoner is a noob stomper class, they win low rank PvP very easy. Continue Arena PvP with your summoner and try to get pass gold rank, good luck.

Daniel Fahl This game is not at all p2w, you can have (if i remember correctly) 95% of the item of the cash shop with something else (but by spending a LOT of time playing the game).
And for what i have hear, the game is balanced for the pvp part, it's like 75% based of your skills of a gamer.

+TheTomokiSakurai How can you say its not p2w when the western publisher has not leaked any info about their p2p model and cash shop.
The only thing leaked is the membership stuff for bonus loot/xp/currency that you can buy per month or get some from a founderspack. Other than that, the only game I ever played from NCSoft is Aion. It was fun in the beginning but was way to grindy. Couldn't tell if late game was p2w as I never got there.
Besides the pvp, this game reminds me of Tera. Since it has the same stuff as any other mmo but with better pvp, I doubt it will be fun long. ArcheAge had alot more to offer, but it turned out bad real fast, im not saying 1 is better than the other, just that this is another old mmo made 7 years ago with the same shit we have had over the last 7 years.
Through the pvp in ArcheAge and take out the cash shop and make the game p2p, it will have alot more fun, maybe less players who don't want a subscription. But it takes care of the kids, bots and alot of the p2w aspects.
TL;DR: PvP looks fun, but besides that. how is this game different from any other 7 year old mmo?

Was looking forward to this but this video just proved to me it's just gonna be another high level gang fest on lobbies trying to advance, I love Pvp but this is just going to be another game for griefers to get hard ons with.
+andrew phippen Nah it's not like that. You can only get attacked by people wearing faction clothes, and if you yourself are not wearing any, it's not possible for them to kill, or attack you. It's perfectly safe to walk around in normal clothes and not get attacked. Only when you wear faction clothing, and someone has on the opposing faction clothing will you be ganked, but then that's at your own discretion, since the game warns you of it. In this video people are getting ganked, but they know what's up, tis why they're wearing the suits.
+Dante Darville ahh ok then that's ok, I love Pvp but hate having to deal with gank fest whilst trying to get ahead etc I mean I know unfortunately with some games that is the nature of it but it gets old real quick and in the end we all play these games to have fun and being ganked repeatedly does not constitute fun for the victims.
+andrew phippen The gank fest is actually a + for me.. having to watch your back as you're leveling, and calling friends for help. I think all that makes for a more dynamic experience.
Ya watching your back is all fine and good if you competing with people of similar level and gear etc as then it becomes interesting as you can get some good pvp action but when have max lvl players beating your ass when your still a pup in the sense of leveling then it's not a dynamic experience anymore .

Most video game have repetitive combat. You usually use your most powerful abilities over and over again. The problem with the new generation of MMO is that your character is basically only good at doing one thing. The same thing. Over and over again. It also often more about luck and you gear rather than pure skill and knowledge of every class. I mean there`s 8 class in the game lmao. We`re far from the 45 class of DaoC.
In UO you had a mage book with over 60 spell. Of course you did not use all these spell during combat, but each spell was worth something. Your character was not locked into the same pattern. You also could be anything else. Being a simple warrior was fun.
In DaoC you had positional and reactive combat abilities, realm abilities, artifact abilities. Daoc combat seem to be boring and slow for the untrained eyes. Unless you truly experienced it yourself. It was fast paced and strategic. A wizard could 3 -4 shot you in less than 6 sec. Yet all it took was to interrupt him. W wiz send a bolt of fire toward a shield wearing tank ? Engage him and take half the damage etc.
Now you watch all these new mmo with shiny cool looking abilities, but it shallow when you play it. You realize how much limited the gameplay is. Because you`re stunlocked into the limitation of the gameplay mechanic.
The thing is. These old game you actually had to prepare and manage yourself. That how you were successful in pvp. Now these game are all about spaming your most powerful abilities more often than he does. MMo are too much casual today. Too easy too learn and too fast to get bored with..
+Falador321 The combat is much more then this, dont take this video as reference to what the combat is. This guy is just going around doing the same combo to lowbies trying to oneshot them, watch PvE combat and Arena PvP it shows real fights unlike this.
+ThePsycm ArcheAge has 120 classes. Most of them are shit tho and when you get to max level you have to HOPE you get lucky to get better gear or just buy it with real money. Also the pvp in that game is just wow. Still enjoyed playing it, mostly because of friends.

+Bob Jones he's not. there is no armor in this game. you use the same weapon and accessories all the way to 50 and just upgrade it every 5'ish levels. it's fucking wack. assassins are just stupidly overpowered and easy in pvp.
