Blackbeard is actually a surprisingly decent assist for Gon. You can connect double scissors into scissors rock if you front step. It works with Galena too but you have to frontstep after the third scissors or delay your rock. Otherwise the assist will negate the damage of rock.

Btw stray with Gon you can do 2 heavies into a half charged downtilt which you can then link into a jajaken

Yep. You can also do two heavies, vanish forward, do another heavy, vanish forward again, then do a half charged dash light into Jajanken. But I don’t think it’s all that practical because it’s kind of hard to pull off and it can vanished out of.
Also you can connect another Jajanken after your three lights if you do a down tilt after scissors.

Meruem can light after kingstrike if he hits them near a wall and flips into it. Leaves him closer to you. Also bb has health but defense stats matter way more and he has 90 in everything but darkness

Why do ppl think gon is bad, he has some of the best damage in the game combo wise. His downtilt is also really good.

I think people just have a hard time countering spam without supers to rely on. Also Gon is pretty slow which makes faster characters hard to deal with.

you can find players pretty easily, it’s just the broken mechanics and cheese you need to watch out for
story is terrible tho
