Amiga Transformation: Upgrading an A500 to A1200 Power in a Desktop Form!

In this video I will turn my Amiga 500 into an Amiga 1200 ... well I will take the 500 out of my Checkmate 1500 case and put an Amiga 1200 into it. Does that count? Along the way we benchmark a few turbo cards like the Wicher 508i, the Blizzard Mark IV and the MTec (AKA Viper IV).

RETRO is the new black is a retro channel for retro enthusiasts. The channel features retro computers, game consoles and gadgets from the 1970, 1980 and 1990s as well as new tech for old machines. The videos range from simple unboxing to repairs and sometimes even the creation of new things.

Loved my Blizzard A1230-IV, wish I'd kept it. You really want to max the RAM (256MB) out on that. If you have one, attach a PCI board to it so you can add a PCI graphics card via P96. If I'd had that back then, I wouldn't have even bothered with an A4000, which was slower anyway.
