      Hi dear😊 Happy to hear you are feeling better already👍🏼😊 Keep drinking a lot of warm liquids and maybe some chicken soup?😊 It's what I have been having the past days. Glad you are enjoying the videos and that you liked these shoes😊 I made them for a friend of mine who recently had a baby girl, and took them to Finland with me. She really liked them😊

    Can i ask what fondant you made these shoes from please

    • @inthekitchenwithelisa
      @inthekitchenwithelisa  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a regular fondant to which I mix a little (1/2-1tsp) tylo powder/CMC. Tylo powder/CMC will make the fondant a bit harder, which makes it easier to model and it holds the shape better, and it also helps the fondant dry faster. However, you can also use store bought ready made modelling fondant.

    How far in advance would you recommend making these for a topper?

    • @inthekitchenwithelisa
      @inthekitchenwithelisa  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, I usually make mine a day before, but you can easily make them further in advance if you want. Then just allow to dry completely and store airtight so that they won't get dusty.

    Hello, how did you dry your fondant?

    • @inthekitchenwithelisa
      @inthekitchenwithelisa  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Stephanie, I just leave it overnight and it dries in that time. The tylo powder you mix into fondant also speeds up the process. That is why I recommend to make fondant decorations for cakes beforehand.
