I've been training for years and for a painfully long time I never wore hand wraps either, PLEASE WEAR YOUR WRAPS I almost broke my wrist once and have been wearing hand wraps and knuckle guards ever since and feel great and much more secure and I'm mad at my past self for not taking better care of my body

Stability, safety, and cushion...and prevents your hands from getting destroyed if you fail to punch correctly...and makes the glove a bit heavier so more gainzzzz, use wraps. just like you would use socks with basketball shoes when you play.

The also help reduce the smell, you sweat into the wrap, not the glove.
