Well he's a big fan of guys like Dime and Jeff Loomis. It's hard to feel good about your lead playing when you're always internally comparing yourself to Loomis.

I am quite the opposite. I prefer instrumental music since vocals can really ruin everything else quite often. There are so many more bands that I would listen to if it weren't for such meh vocals. Periphery's first album is a prime example. I hated the vocal version and they should've left well enough alone.

Ola, This is like what Polyphia were doing, before they went wankerXcore and started totally jizzing everywhere with notes for the sake of it, this is musically rich, brilliant work Swede!
What a great piece! Bravo Ola, the melody and the harmony are simply amazing. Somewhat reminiscent of two of my favorite axemen - Vinnie Moore and Paul Gilbert, but truly original on it's own!
This album is epic! Powerful riffs that meld together well, complimented by guitar melodies and leads with 'feel', without overdoing the shred. Great work!
