Hi. I would Say Balos is not appropriate for toddlers, since there is a 30-40 minutes hike which could be quite difficult to get from the parking aera to the beach. All the other locations are easy to access to. The rental i got it from the ryan air affiliates on their website, it was quite cheaper than going straight to the rental companies, ryan air gets a bigger discount .
I was mid October. The water was the same temperature as in August, i felt no difference. There was no rain and don’t be fooled by the month of October, bring a lot of sun screen, its still mediteranean weather.

When in October? Was the water very cold? Any rain?

Hey! What was the sea temperature?
It was very plesant, it was between 20 and 24 Celcius depending of the beach. Elafonisi and Balos were at 24, agia marina at around 20 for example.
