Can you test if putting a player on a lower line then they are rated drops their morale ? Also if they updated McDavids shots per season. In NHL 17 he would be lucky if he got 160-180 shots in a season.
also the shots per year for a player like David David Pastrnak who would take maybe 150 shots a year but irl takes over 250

MrSpawn824 I think it's so that there would be a gap between superstars and 2nd/3rd liners. Like Johnny (2BC) said, 80% of the league was between 84-87 overall. Now there's actually a difference and the superstars have a much bigger impact.
Just saying Faulk has a career +/- of -81 and Slavin is a career plus player

In my Franchise mode Rasmus Dahlin only got to an 88 in 13 years. He won the Norris 3 times, the Calder, Conn Smythe 2 times, the Art Ross 1 time, Lady Byng 4 times, the Hart 2 times, and the Bill Masterson 8 times.
Boeser is not a top6 potential. He should be low/med elite.

I don't get how tarasenko is a low elite but he is only a few overall below some franchise players. Also he was rated the 4th best winger in the NHL so yea that is a error that should be fixed

Obviously I'm bias towards Toews because I'm a Blackhawks fan, but people commonly think he's overrated because he doesn't produce as many points as other players at that overall. However ,he is a complete captain, he will always get a healthy amount of points , while being a great leader and defensive forward. 89 deserved

That low elite for tarasenko must be a glitch, there’s no way he’d be lower than high elite ea loves tarasenko and he didn’t like do bad last year. There was a potential glitch last year where if u look at the players in edit players sometimes it’ll show the wrong level of potential. So that low elite is probably actually a high and it glitched.

I’m looking forward to nhl 18, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not looking forward to changing all these overalls and potentials they changed. What did Sam Reinhart to do deserve low elite instead of med? Why is Chycrun always a med elite instead of like med top 4 or at least low elite? How is Jeff Skinner, a 30 goal scorer, an 84??? What was ea smoking when they rated Jeff Skinner??? Panarin only 86? Atkinson only 84? Voracek at 87? You’re telling me Voracek is better than all of the people I just listed before and Eichel and Matthews? Ghost had a worst year compared to his rookie year, so why would they raise him to a med elite from his usual low elite?

You underrate Hjalmarsson and Seabrook way too much. Huge reasons why the Blackhawks won 3 Stanley cups. Both great Defensemen well deserving of 86 overall.

Listen to this so I figure each players rating from what it would be in nhl 18 is 3 points lower that it is in nhl 18 for example Crosby who would easily be a 96 in nhl 18 if it wasn't for the new rating system in nhl 18 or Taylor hall who really hasn't changed since nhl 17 he is a 87 in nhl 18 and plus three overall points would make him a 90 meaning his rating hasn't changed so that means Austin matthews would be and 90 and date back to when nhl 17 was released mcdavid was a 88 so that means in nhl 18 mcdavid would be a 85 and matthews would be better hah suck it oilers fans
