The DDR MPI-KM Rifle (An AKM From Suhl, East Germany)

An oldy and our very first video looking at an East German Maschinenpistole-Kalashnikov rifle. Specifically, this was a 7.62x39mm MPI-KM, the DDR AKM variant. It was assembled from a complete parts kit, with a Romanian CHF barrel and on an American NDS stamped receiver.
East Germany manufactured Kalashnikovs at several locations scattered across the country, including at Weisa and Ernst-Thalmann in Suhl.
