Being an English Teacher I too face this problem... even students start pointing out after watching such videos... they are damn confused about the correct pronunciation... then I have to explain them that It's just a language to express ourselves not a science to do research over every word. Thank you so much for speaking on a genuine topic.
You're an English teacher, and these words used by you are too simple n easy to understand where as some social media influencers are just pointing out how to pronounce everything correctly n they also use very complicated words just to make themselves look cool! A huge difference between an English teacher and a social media influencer.
It's basically upto us if we want to adapt all the lessons by them and how and where we use them. I'm smart enough to not flaunt my pronunciation skills in front of my friends and relatives. I'm neither judging them if they're not pronouncing as I am. But I can surely use them to impress my boss. I can use better words and their alternatives in my write ups and articles because I've love for the language and i have learnt a lot from their lessons (esp Aleena Raees's videos. She injects a drop of confidence within me and elevates my love for the language everytime i listen to her. I don't know much about Kanchan). It's not like they're demeaning the Indian pronunciation, they're just telling the better ways to do them. However, I agree they should stop using the phrases like "ye pronunciation ghalat hai" or "you're mispronouncing these words". It's just that they have studied enough and hard and hence are now making their living by using their capabilities and showing it off. There's nothing wrong in that. Talking about ki ye words English movies ya kahin aur use nai hote, usse hme kya fark padta hai? Hme bs ye pta ho ki is word ko aise b bol sakte hn, bs ab hm unhen kb, kaise, kahan bolen ya use karen ye hmare upar hai P.S. People are using the word "accent, Indian accent and all". Remember she had said in her interview with Sandeep Maheshwari that any accent is good and she hasn't backed off from her words. She's correcting the pronunciation and other skills like communication. PRONUNCIATION AND ACCENT ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS. POLES APART.
at the same time Korea value English more than anything, if korean have a fear that will be English , let me tell you people who can pronounce Three rather than siri get more respect their.

@@dolly_8090 that's not true my friend. Koreans are obsessed with the US and UK. They love their idols doing accents and it's a huge thing. Sad a country like SK feels inferior and try way too hard to feel validated.
Language is just a language. No language is inferior or superior. I have seen people considering themselves superior just because they are better at English or know big words. Or judging others for mispronounciations. Im guilty I have been one of them but no more.. And It took me years to realise that. I'm well versed in hindi (my mother tongue) , English( credits to colonial hangover) , bundelkhandi (dialect from central India) and now I it has been almost two years of me learning French. Can you say schools and teachers forced maths and science on us??!! There are many students who do not like or understand maths and science but still one cannot say those subjects are forced on us!! Similarly, just because one doesn’t like or understand pronunciations doesn’t mean they are forced upon us!! Students who love science or maths learn those subjects with enthusiasm!! Similarly, there are language enthusiasts too!! Teachers do not force, they teach!! They are called TEACHERS for a reason!! If not then, probably they would have been known as ‘FORCERS’ not ‘TEACHERS’!!
Susmita Sen , Lara Dutta are so well spoken and I hardly see them using British or American accent. It’s their confidence and their thought process which appeal to us. Nothing is more irritating then someone trying too hard to talk in some accent.
Thank you for bringing such important topic......its high time that we normalize Indian accent English so that it doesnt scare off people who are beginners because it becomes way too overwhelming for them...Language should simply be a way to communicate and connect ....regarding misprounciation one should try to just correct in the accent in which she is comfortable...
@Dog lover Its the same. Have you heard a Chinese or Japanese speaking English. They heavily mispronounce words but are not considered stupid for that.
I like the part where you said that Spanish, Mexican and other country people don't stress on their accents They just speak in natural way ukw that just make it sounds attractive..... If you speak in American or British accent in India people won't understand you need to speak in easy and understanding way if you are going abroad that's a difference story
Language is pure art. You can pronounce words however you want to and it's alright it doesn't magically change the way language works. People have accents, but there's always a correct pronunciation. Americans mispronounce Indian names all the time, and we correct them. If you cannot pronounce Aniruddh because your tongue isn't trained to make the sound of "ddh" it doesn't change the fact that it's pronounced in a certain way. Croissant begins with "Khwa" sound even if you call it "Crausaunt". There are correct pronunciations, and there are incorrect pronounciations. Not everyone is a language geek, but some are. Some genuinely want to learn the correct way of pronouncing words. Channels like English with Lucy make videos for a targetted audience, and you are free to ignore those videos. But mocking such channels and creators just because you don't want to consume their content is stupid and embarassing.
Wholeheartedly agree. It’s the first video of spill bee I don’t completely agree with. There is always a way words were “meant to” be pronounced. French and Italian too have their own way of speaking and pronunciation but that doesn’t invalidate the original pronunciations. It is OKAY for someone to try to speak whatever language they speak in the most proficient manner. Especially now that we might have to communicate/orate to western audience. An American making an effort to pronounce Hindi words in the best way possible so that Indians can understand him better is never ridiculed, so should be the other way around.
exactly my thoughts 🙌🏻... literally in this video I was waiting maybe she'll make some sense somewhere but the entire concept is faulty especially if you're a language enthusiast.
I absolutely agree even if we can't pronounce or don't want to pronounce in a certain way still we can't deny the fact that there is always a right pronounciation of words and it's not just about English in every language there is a right pronounciation. It's just on us if you don't wanna speak the right pronunciation just don't . But those who are teaching you are not supposed to criticize them .stop yr agr nhi sikhna h aapko to mt sikhiye but let them teach who wants to teach and let those learn who want to learn
Her point is entirely different and she isn't pulling down anyone. It's high time we stopped degrading people in the name of English, that's all she had to say and I think it's fair. 😁
Just love the way u explain... ❤️ You are absolutely right... 🙌 That's why some people scared to even speak in English coz of this... Thank you so much for bringing this topic 🙌❤️
I am an English teacher and I approve this message. It's great to have an accent and sound fancy, but if the message that you want to convey gets lost while thinking about the right pronunciation you will lose the motivaton to speak. 😊
Omg ...this was much needed...Thank you spill bee for throwing light at this! She mispronounces alot of words and once I pointed her for 'ghost' as there is no 'gha' sound in English. Also, what is right for Britishers may be wrong for Americans and vice-versa, so you just cannot declare an accent incorrect!
Gh sound is there For Britishers Ghastly is a word . She doesnt mispronounce She is helping many people like me If u don't like it's ok But why to write bad English on her face in such a video
There is a big difference between pronounciatuon and accent....There are basic rules in grammar which is followed certainly..Aleena and Kanchan mam are doing great work they are saying that Indian pronunciation is not wrong but what is the correct one....at least people are now aware that for us grammar matters...

Here's my take on the video, I've been in one of the top 5 English medium boarding schools from class 1 till 12th. The pronounciation of words like plumber and poem was corrected by our teachers as well, and it did help especially those students who were planning to study abroad. Having control on your language is something which is very useful for writing SOPs and essays, which are required for applying abroad. Personally,Urdu is the means of communication in our house and I dislike it if someone cant pronounce the words properly. I know how to speak and write Urdu,Hindi and English very well and a tad bit of Spanish. When I was learning Spanish,i made sure to pronounce the word exactly how it is supposed to be pronounced. It's easier to gwl in with soanosh soeaking people that way. This was my take on the video. And agar indian English aati hi hai,toh what's the point of watching hwr channel. Those who want to improve their english speaking skills and learn new pgrases and words should watch such channels.

Indian english is different becoz hamari devnagri script mein vo sound hai jo english as a second language ke liye base rakhta hai. Like I am currently learning Hangul (korean language) and I noticed that देवनागरी has those sound which romon alphabet don't hv. That's why humari english ke pronunciation too some extent humari first language se match karti hi hai thats why we can also see diversity of Indian english accent also across India.
I recently started watching Aleena's video and I just love her videos...they are really addictive not just because of her voice.. but her cute expressions...I got to know about many English words through her . No doubt there are many English Tutorials but She stands out differently.... She is just wow. Edit... you are correct... if Google can recognize our accent, why can't we?
I agree. I love the way she pronounces and corrects those words. I admire her. She's cute in her videos. I love her calmness and humbleness too. Her aura is something different. She seems magical sometimes.
Thnku so much for making this video I was thinking that i use very basic words and that doesn't sounds good these day but your video gave me confidence
Ma'am, I watch your videos from time to time and I must say, it has helped me to learn the actual pronounciation of some words. Of course, nobody is forcing me for this and it's my personal choice. So I don't think anybody should have any problem if somebody wants to learn a proper/different pronounciation of certain things. Just because someone speaks a lil different than others doesn't mean that they are showing off.
Seriously.. I have been an IELTS trainer and students their focused on speaking in American or British accent. I always guided them to speak in accent you normally speak in, else it would sound pretentious. When a foreigner speaks broken Hindi, we never make fun of them, do we? English is difficult to learn because the roots of pronunciation come from Latin or French, which are altogether difficult languages to learn. English is just a language and pronunciation itna sahi ho ki saamne wale ko samajh aa jaye. Don’t stress over accent, Indian accent hi rakho :)
Rubbish! When I try to speak Hindi I am always made fun of in India. So much so now, I am so self conscious to speak it. When I tried to speak French or Spanish they never made fun of me. But Indians are really patronising.
@@mohinib2001 my accent is pretty spot on and yet I get made fun of by friends because they know I have lived abroad. I am half Indian and I have lived in India. However, no matter how much I try to assimilate I will never feel like this is my home because they keep trying to make it out like I am putting on an accent or they will mimic the way I speak Hindi even if it sounds EXACTLY like how they say it. Just by virtue of me living abroad and learning Hindi at a later stage in life I am branded as the 'firang'.

She's absolutely right! You don't need to think about the pronunciation...unless, you are talking to foreigners on a daily basis. I'm a freelancer and all of my clients are from the US and UK. In such cases you want to make sure that they understand your pronunciation otherwise you'll struggle in that particular conversation with your client. I won't say Aleena, or any other English teacher is wrong. It's just that you must be confident in your communication skills, it doesn't matter whether it's American, British, or Indian pronunciation.
yea i feel the same. Accent isn't that important. They should praise that most of us learn a language which doesn't belong to a country and become fluent with it. Every country people , just like spill bee said spanish people has their own way of pronounciation. recently I have seen few shows like gravity falls where soos granma and candy has their own accent. You might have encountered Japanese acent of english , chinese acent , I prefer acent to be our identity and its even in google. Its not bad if anyone tries to bring the british or american accent. But there's no need.
According to me...aleena is doing the right thing, she is just telling the correct pronunciation of particular words in English language...n its not show off at all even many of the words which aleena told as correct pronunciation, I was using that pronunciation only since childhood, that doesn't mean that I show off... She is just teaching to the new learners the correct pronunciation of words... I dont think there is anything wrong about it

You explained it in an amazing way. Whatever you mentioned is indeed correct. In India we all focus on studying English , forgetting that the motive is to speak, as long as the other person understands what you mean to say , you r doing great. In the end what matters is whether you communicate or not. And for those who r afraid of speaking , always remember People who laugh at you now, will applaud you once you start. Oh girl it's damn true, I'm here in uk , i talk with British people and yes they have there different accent but the think is that it's very easy nd comfortable to talk to them because they don't judge me about my pronunciation, infact i speak simple English and with confidence. It helps me to communicate better with them. But in India people don't take it as medium of communication they just take it as status symbol, or to impress other. This is totally wrong.
In 21st century, we are all a global family and there's nothing such as American, British or Indian accent. We may grasp a word from anywhere and we pronounce it the same way we've heard when it stayed in our memory. Stressing on pronunciations and accents is very outdated to the present day world. And also using "too difficult" or "too simple" vocab isn't a point to raise kuz due to acess to every word, the global vocabulary is also growing and at the same time, it's perfectly OK to keep simple. Enjoy your conversations and listening to the people you talk to, rather than judge them. Being natural in whatever your way is is a comfort to yourself and others.
Everytime I watch your videos without headphones, my mother and brother asks me whether you have cold...😂, And i always say that she is lovely and i love her voice as it is. Love you girl 😘😘😘
I've personally never believed that there are right or wrong ways to pronounce words, as u said people from different parts of the world have their own accent and thus pronounce words differently and that's okay and we should respect that. But again sm words do have a definite pronunciation, for example stomach, it has a "c" sound and the h is silent, and it's pronounced in this way all over the world, so here accent doesn't play a huge role. Same for words like psychology (h is silent) & receipt (p is silent)
I remember my communication teacher told in my class that you don't have to learn British/American accent to be a good speaker, but only told us to learn proper grammar and proper communication skill. I agree with her, cause most people should be develop a good speaking skills rather learning an accent.
This is the reason...why I speak English fluently in my mind but afraid to speak it out loud...because I'm always nervous about my pronunciations...though they are right but still people make fun of it by listening to those influncers....
see tbh I completely agree with you .. but I also feel like we have to move with the time otherwise the typical indian accent which west talks about will never fade away and I'm pretty sure most of us including me hates when they talk in that way. I'm not saying that you should all start talking like that... I'm just saying we should also learn new things about language and update ourselves instead of saying why to copy them .. the point is that the more we talk about these new language phrases the more Indians and other countries will get use to it. It's not compulsory but it's not bad either to improve and move on with the time. Others can disagree to the
Fact is that other countries are not doing the same. No one is mocking a Spanish, Korean or Italian for pronouncing words with their specific accents. Just because the west dislikes our Indian accent, it mocks it. But that doesn't mean we need to make special efforts just so that we don't have to face this mockery. Instead we should show our middle finger to them and be confident and united in whatever way we speak as Indians, just like other countries' people.
@@rain01250 I agree but also I'm saying that we should stop saying that we we have to copy west ... it's our choice some people like being different and some dont.
@@prakharsrivastava8218 I know but many of these people who learn the British or American accent start demeaning or insulting people who don't, and that's what needs to stop.
@@rain01250 You really don't know if Spanish, Korean or Italian people get mocked or not , I have seen though, American making stereotype for Spanish and Italian people's way of pronunciation (it's a mockary too) I don't know why Korean even came in here(seeing a lot of examples) , they are not even good with English at all(as a country they are horrible in English)they fear English more than anything and respect people who have good pronounciation and accent . and yes these countries have their own version of English, for Korean , konglish Selca = Selfe but they won't use it when they are using proper English, they try to use proper pronunciation as much as they can , You can see your any favorite kpop idol who is fluent in English will switch back n forth konglish to proper English (watching Kpop n kdrama for 4 years now)
Accent and pronounciation are two different things. Yes there is absolutely no need to fake an accent however to pronounce the word right is also important. I mean it is taught at schools too..
But both of them are really doing good job i think as it increases vocabulary. I personally learnt many new things through their videos, i am not talking about pronunciation.but extra knowledge we get.
According to my brother who have conversation with lots of other European people, even they are not so fluent in English. But still they talk English as much as needed. And in their countries they are not shamed to not speak in English. This only happens in countries with colonised minds. Especially in south asia. This have to change.
This was truly needed. Look at Japanese people, they have their own way of speaking english words, but does someone look down upon them? No, because their soft power and their mannerism speaks for them, despite having a cruel history they're not being mocked for their own way of speaking english. If they don't care, why should we force others in our own country? This pretentious attitude needs to be stopped. It should be more than enough if you understand what I said in english, not in the way I said those words, because it seems like they're not even paying attention to the content of my speech but how I say each word which is truly annoying because it's like you're just focusing on surface level - which just shows how shallow people are.
Nah she ain't degrading anyone. The thing that is bothering here is that these teachers are showcasing Indian pronunciation as wo galat hai. Sabka accent hota hai , Indians ka apna accent hai. Nothing wrong with the Indian pronunciation
As someone who loves trying accents of different countries I must say that I realised that there is nothing wrong in speaking my real accent when I got to know that our moms use these fancy english words when she talks dehati I felt the need to bring back my original accent and not copying american or british accent.
I really like this topic, accent or proper pronunciation doesn't matter, but the main thing is communication. If you communicate properly then it is more than enough. Our indian accent is really sweet and lenient. I love my Indian accent 😊
All right, in my humble opinion, each language has an origin. So, often when we talk about "correct" pronunciation, linguists or language enthusiasts respect the roots and origin of a language and follow the phonetics of that language. Of course, languages evolve that is how they exist (ex: colloquialism) but there is still a proper manner of presenting them. So, I did not quite agree with the topic of this video. Apologies for such a long comment. Thank you for spending your valuable time in reading this. And my sincere apologies if this comment hurt anyone's sentiments. 😊
India also has many accents tho. A tamilan and an Arunachali would pronounce differently. Punjabi from Canada Punjabi from India would pronounce differently. While learning we go through some basic rules and then pick up the pronounce from people around us Or through media so things get mixed
I came across your channel and subscribed after watching just one video. Your videos are the perfect combination of logic and humor. Makes perfect sense....why do we take so much stress for pronouncing simple words when Google also recognizes Indian English pronunciation.
Using correct pronunciation isn't about show off. It's recommended so that the other person understands you correct. If you travel abroad like US/Britain, it will be hard for others to understand certain words in Indian accent
I think for you there is only two countries in the world And abroad doesn't mean only us and uk there alot of countries in the world and they have different languages and different accent . For Indians first we need to think about us
@@RajKumar-cv1up US,Canada, Australia and UK are the countries where Indians go most of the time to earn livelihood. Indian accent isn't near to any of these countries. I mean it doesn't hurt right if people can easily understand us

I think Aleena is doing a great job in her videos. I like how she teaches correct pronunciations to everyone. Yes, Indian pronunciation is a thing but in her latest videos, she has also been telling the Indian one too. (let's not judge her old videos because every creator grows like you did!). Now talking about her saying "You are mispronouncing these words" in the beginning of her video, I think you know this strategy very well, Spill Bee, because you use this strategy too! It's like a hook to grab attention & make people watch. You do this ALL the time in your videos! So why should she not do this? It's kinda hypocritical, don't you think? Also, this is NOT a hate comment for you because I'm just giving my opinion like you did in the video. You're not wrong in everything you said. You're right that if we keep getting stuck on remembering correct pronunciation, it will be difficult to talk. But just because it's hard to remember, doesn't mean we'll not attempt to learn the correct pronunciation. And it's also okay to choose not to learn. Aleena isn't forcing anyone. She is just providing education. If people still want to stick to their old pronunciation for clarity purpose, they absolutely can.
The entire point of this video is....who decides what's the correct pronunciation...and are we still going to let our colonial past rule our present....all over the world ppl pronounce different words in a variety of ways and no one's got any issue but it's a peculiar condition here in the subcontinent that we attach extra privileges to English as a language and are hell bent on imitating pronunciation and diction from our western counterparts ....which is infact completely wrong and more so a big waste of time. You're actually isolating yourself from a large part of the population who wouldn't understand what you're saying...and hence you'll have to repeat yourself each time you use the "correct" pronunciation. If you are immigrating to the states or UK...sure thing.....you should learn their accent and pronunciations but learning all this crap while you're back in India is utter waste of time becoz in all honesty... you'll never be able to use any of these words for effective communication here in india.
@@centralist_news5352 There is a right and wrong for every language. And yes, that right & wrong can be subjective & no one person should get to decide. But what Aleena is teaching is conventions of the language (rules that have been set to convey globally). I'm not talking about accent here. I'm talking about pronunciation. There are limited conventions when it comes to pronunciations & that's what Aleena's videos are all about. Also, important point, just because we are discussing case for English language, you think it's about "colonial past" but that has nothing to do with it. You'll understand if you consider another language. So, for example, if someone mispronounces Hindi, would you call them out? In most cases, yes. I have seen this happen. Would you say that there is no right pronunciation for Hindi? No! Because people who speak Hindi have learnt a convention & whenever someone new goes against the convention, it doesn't sound like Hindi anymore. I'm just trying to make the point that English is a language just like any other & Aleena talks about the conventions. Please don't bring "colonialism" into everything, especially where it's not related.
@@shwetaasomwanshi5539 You didn't understand my context. I'm saying that Aleena is just using the "you are pronouncing incorrectly" sentence as a hook in the beginning of the video to grab attention of the viewers. That's very similar to almost all the Spill Bee video titles.
Accent and grammatically right hona do agal baat hai... dont confuse... example poem ki pronunciation toh school text books mai bi available hai... right pronunciation is part of grammar...
Thanks for bringing such topic. You are fabulous ❤️ Just a thing one of my teachers taught is ,in case of spellings and stuff we follow British English for example colour (in us English it's color) US feels like if that letter is not needed remove it .we follow British one bcoz they ruled in india nd English came from there they are English people and US modifies everything with time to time whereas we feel to keep it in its original form. It's great that India consider such value for the outside language but it's high time we focused in our way . To accept in are own accent nd make it convenient to our people rather than forcing some other accents to look more educated.
Very nice... You are encouraging people to speak English instead of scaring them to focus on better vocabulary.. Today you found a new subscriber.. Keep going👍
We had an English teacher who alway s thought all high and mighty of herself. From the first day she was like "the school focus on British English ex:- it's not poo-yam it's poom" she would littrely rip her face of with anger if someone mispronounce any word she told us . Honestle we didn't give any importance to that because most of us were just speaking Punjabi , bagdhi and Hindi . Love my classmate they were amazing 😔🥰
In a Global world, pronunciation/accent is very important in business communication. I have seen South Indian fellas pronouncing words wrong and with a very heavy accent leading to miscommunication with foreign clients. Nothing wrong is learning correct pronunciations, we should strive to speak the language like the natives.
We have our accents but there is a way to pronounce words. It's kinda complicated but English is not India's native language so we can't claim our pronunciation is right. We don't need to exactly sound like British or American but it needs to be closer to that.... Specially if you have never went to these countries ever. I mean it's not easy to get rid of an accent so it's always going to be there. It's literally like if someone is talking in Bengali in Punjabi accent. There is a way to pronounce the words and you may never pronounce them like natives ones but if you are fluent in it your pronounciation needs to be right and your native accent should sound very negligible when you talk that other language. People need to stop shaming people just because they are more good at it. They are just teaching us pronounce the words correctly and even if you learn that we can never sound exactly like British or American ones. It's just people don't like to improve and take it to their ego. Imagine if an American is speaking in English and when someone try to help him to pronounce hindi word right way he say no it's just my accent I don't need to talk like Indians! Now I think you should have understood it even learning that how to pronounce word right you can't have exactly same accent. They are similar but not exactly same.
I was in school which follws Cambridge course I.e followed in many countries and also in india so no marks were discarded for spellings Grammer and pronunciation as different country have different spellings and pronunciation and britishers use kare and we use care as spelling so all she is saying is 100 percent true
This video is giving false hopes and encouragement to people with bad english. Though english is mere a language, but it's a global language. Speaking it in a right way will make us better fit in professional setup. Otherwise, we will end up being a joke to everyone in the conference room. So pronunciation does matter.
Seriously , thank you for making this point loud and clear. I don't understand why indian pronunciation is mocked by everyone( including our people).People say it is difficult to get. Literally , it is the most logical and clear pronunciation . How can anyone not get this?I have never seen world targetting spanish , italian , french or arab accent as much as Indian.
and yes google is recognizing Indian english .. like you gave an eg. that its plum-bher for us in Indian english ... but when you go somewhere else apart from India it sounds very odd because to them it's common and when you say it differently you suddenly become an eye candy for everyone to see. You're an English teacher, and these words used by you are too simple n easy to understand where as some social media influencers are just pointing out how to pronounce everything correctly n they also use very complicated words just to make themselves look cool! A huge difference between an English teacher and a social media influencer.
I have watched kanchan kesari once but soon realised that she was unable to make her students understand basic grammar of English language.
You are a bad teacher then, you should strive to make children speak like a native English. speaker
Exactly! Like people have korean accent, Chinese accent and Italian accent then why there can't be an indian accent?
Indian accent exist
Yes, indian accent should be promoted we should use our huge population to do that
It's basically upto us if we want to adapt all the lessons by them and how and where we use them.

What's more messed up is Teachers and profs forcing up a particular form of pronunciation! I remember so many incidents from my school.
Well school is a place where you are corrected, if you learn its good, if not then also its fine.
So even in school, the teacher doesn't have the right to teach you? Okay, got it!
What else did u think school is for then? They teaching you not forcing correct stuff onto you.

True.

I agree on this....
Languages are meant for communication....
But people use foreign languages as status symbol....
This is the best video i found today.....thank you for addressing this....
It helps me to communicate better with them. But in India people don't take it as medium of communication they just take it as status symbol, or to impress other. This is totally wrong.
As a teacher she is doing her work .

Same for words like psychology (h is silent) & receipt (p is silent)
your voice is becoming clear day by day ♥️✨
I remember my communication teacher told in my class that you don't have to learn British/American accent to be a good speaker, but only told us to learn proper grammar and proper communication skill. I agree with her, cause most people should be develop a good speaking skills rather learning an accent.
This is the reason...why I speak English fluently in my mind but afraid to speak it out loud...because I'm always nervous about my pronunciations...though they are right but still people make fun of it by listening to those influncers....
Then make it correct na ...agar sab log kuch galat kr re hai to uska mtlb yeh nhi ki wo sahi hai..

see tbh I completely agree with you .. but I also feel like we have to move with the time otherwise the typical indian accent which west talks about will never fade away and I'm pretty sure most of us including me hates when they talk in that way. Others can disagree to the
Agreed
Fact is that other countries are not doing the same. No one is mocking a Spanish, Korean or Italian for pronouncing words with their specific accents. Just because the west dislikes our Indian accent, it mocks it. But that doesn't mean we need to make special efforts just so that we don't have to face this mockery. Instead we should show our middle finger to them and be confident and united in whatever way we speak as Indians, just like other countries' people.

You didn't get the point, she is saying that they cannot directly mention that these words are pronounced wrongly.
Gand mara that's nice pronounce
She is amazing teacher ❤️❤️❤️
Accent and grammatically right hona do agal baat hai... dont confuse... example poem ki pronunciation toh school text books mai bi available hai... right pronunciation is part of grammar...
The level of common sense, the way of presenting a middle ground is soooooo liberating. Love you ❤️
It is quite prevelant practice in our country. Even people who are non hindi background are highly ridiculed for their mispronouncing a word.
Thank you thank you thank you... finally someone has put it out... You have used all my imagined interviews out loud🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks for bringing such topic. You are fabulous ❤️
Just a thing one of my teachers taught is ,in case of spellings and stuff we follow British English for example colour (in us English it's color) US feels like if that letter is not needed remove it .we follow British one bcoz they ruled in india nd English came from there they are English people and US modifies everything with time to time whereas we feel to keep it in its original form.
It's great that India consider such value for the outside language but it's high time we focused in our way . To accept in are own accent nd make it convenient to our people rather than forcing some other accents to look more educated.
You are absolutely correct!
Very nice... You are encouraging people to speak English instead of scaring them to focus on better vocabulary.. Today you found a new subscriber.. Keep going👍
This video is really comforting
Exactly someone finally said this
Right!!! Exact on point
A much awaited vdo...
Thank you so much for voicing your mature opinion on this topic...
In a Global world, pronunciation/accent is very important in business communication. I have seen South Indian fellas pronouncing words wrong and with a very heavy accent leading to miscommunication with foreign clients. Nothing wrong is learning correct pronunciations, we should strive to speak the language like the natives.
I have seen north Indians murder English....so? Stop this generalizing 😊
Now i blv English confidentiality bol rehe ho apni comfortable wise it's good enough .. you are what you are.. that's it
I really appreciate your work, keep going 👍
You are right. Thank you for putting it out.
Correct
I totally agree with you! Instead of mocking Aleena's videos, these people should better learn english.
So right you are..👌👍
Indians have the best 👍 all the words are pronounced as per the alphabet and i am comfortable with it♥️
Seriously , thank you for making this point loud and clear.
Another eg. Deepika's career couldn't kick start the way she hoped for is because of this reason only .. coz her indian accent is soo strong and her phrases are soo bluh.. look at priyanka she also speaks most of the time just like us but she keeps the thing updated and know when and how to use it
Yesss so true
