and yet it was Raziel who so cruelly took away all of Clary's powers and memories and separated her from Jace the love of her life in the end, even after she used her powers to save the world so many times and single-handedly saved the world when she killed Jonathan. In the end Raziel proved that he is arrogant and self-righteous spiteful being who was so backwards in his thinking.
this is really one of the best shows EVER !!! The actors are amazing mostly dom and kat! it's not easy to show that love between two characters... but they both did a great job, look how important is jace for clary that she wants him back

I don't think the angel knew what would've happened to Jace but he would've known that bringing people back from the dead always had a consequence. In Jace's case, being brought back from the dead made him vulnerable to Lilith's manipulation which turned him into the owl.

OK hi everybody, I am just getting into the series, just finishing season 2. I understand how the wish came to be granted, but can someone explain to me why it's such a huge deal? Is there only one wish that can ever be granted?
Jenna Beard i’m super late. But I’ll explain. Ok so basically when the first shadowhunter was created the angel Raziel gave them the mortal instruments being the cup, sword and ofc the mirror being lake Lynn. And he then promised that if shadowhunters were to ever fail their purpose in being on earth that he would come and rid the world of demons and demon blooded creatures (basically downworlders) and that is like a re-assurance to shadowhunters being that is the angel’s words and he’s promised that to the first and the other generations of shadowhunters. So clary wishing Jace back just broke that wish. Meaning that promise is no longer a promise or a wish anymore. So if shadowhunters were to fail at their job then the Angel can’t do much bc clary took that wish away but I can’t blame her for it though.
I’ve been reading the books and I have to say I’m rather disappointed with how the parabatai connection between Jace and Alec is like 99% of the time completely ignored

I’m confused on the whole “pure angel blood” situation... like how is having pure angel blood different than nephilim? Isn’t a nephilim part human and part ANGEL? And if so, shouldn’t it be the same as having pure ANGEL blood?
So if I'm remembering correctly (been a while since I read the books) all Nephilim have angel blood in them but while Jocelyn and Celine (Jace's mom) were pregnant, Valentine made them drink angel blood which he took from an angel he somehow trapped in the basement of his mansion in Alicante, without their knowledge because he wanted to make insanely strong Shadowhunters to wipe out all demons and Downworlders. They're kind of like Shadowhunter super soldiers and it's the reason why Jace has gold eyes and is way better than everyone else and why Clary can create runes and portals.
I don't know why....but I feel this wish was kinda stupid. I would've asked the angel to grant 5 more wishes to me😅.....no offence tho, I love the show
Jace is the love of her life, he keeps her grounded and brings out the best in her, she would not be able to live without him so she made the right choice to bring Jace back.
She could’ve wished for anything 🙄yet she wished for him to come back. No hate to jace tho but I can’t stand clary. She could’ve ended poverty or sickness or cure diseases
I think while ideally you would want to believe that people are selfless, but in reality, it's in our human nature to be selfish, and I think if you had to choose between saving someone that you love or help strangers, people are more likely to choose to help or save their loved ones before strangers
