I do the same thing except mine are oval swatch sticks. Some have my crappy writing and some have labels. I don't clear cap or file them though. Just gel topcoat. I can even get away with putting the base on both sides sometimes and getting it in the powder one time and be done. Those colors are beautiful. I have some dips out and ready for BCA mani
I really like seeing this. I don't bother filing or clear capping mine just bc I am lazy and just want to know what the colors are 😂 I have never thought of doing the under and over like this.
I know clear capping isn't necessary but especially for chunky glitters, I can't stand thinking my swatches will have pieces of glitter sticking out all over so I have to get them smooth. lol.. Totally unnecessary step but I can't help it. lol
Beautifully done with allot of awesome steps in swatching dip colors I learned ALLOT FROM YOU wish there was a easier less time consuming way I started doing 12 after seeing your video it was like 2hrs of work! But it's a worth it in the end. I like to have the actual colors for my clients to see because as you mentioned dip powders are only true colors after you have dipped and activated looking through the clear jar is not going to be the actual color. I so need to get caught up on my swatching! I love how you do yours. I know the activator you use is Double Dips right? What are you using for base and top coat? I don’t want to use my good OG liquids for swatching. Thank you for sharing!!💜

You make your swatches so much nicer than I do! I don't buff or file at all. No clear. But you can take pretty pics of yours. Mine are just for me :)

I am using some Dipalicious base that i've had for awhile. I try not to use my good liquids to swatch. lol

Does the normal 3 dip on your nail look exactly the same as the swatches with just 1 dip front/back?
Yep. I just do a swatch on the underside to reduce bulk in my swatches.. but the swatches are clear so the color doesn't change.
