- Miranda Sings star Colleen Ballinger opens up about making her Broadway debut, stepping into the role of Dawn in the musical Waitress. Also joining the company of the Sara Bareilles musical August 20 is Broadway veteran and fellow social media star Todrick Hall who will appear opposite Ballinger as Ogie, the eccentric Revolutionary War reenactor who woos Dawn.

I mean, she went to college for theatre, so it’s not a stretch to imagine her on stage. I’m glad she gets to step away from Miranda and show her chops, so I would imagine, probably in the next two years, that she’ll be back on the stage.

Peggy Schuyler I’m sorry that you didn't get the tickets you were hoping for because of the price. I completely understand the struggle of wanting to see very popular and expensive shows and not being able to afford it. However, Collen didn't price the tickets. I'd rather be happy for someone promoting their love of theater then be upset about the price. 💕 Also, Broadway lost A LOT of money this year. They need to do what's best for the production and everyone who has taken part.

I just saw the show, and it is spectacular! Colleen and Todrick were absolutely perfect!
she really did a good job, i know that her accent was criticized at the beginning but she improved every day, and she really nailed it every performance after the first week, which i feel is normal for any person on broadway. she was one of the best celebrity-casts on broadway in a long time.
