- Black Metal legends TSJUDER are now sharing the new song 'Gods of Black Blood'. The track is taken from the album "Helvegr" which will be released on 23rd of June 2023.
TSJUDER is emerging with a brand-new full-length opus for the first time since 2015! Featuring a renewed line-up with drum master Jon “The Charn” Rice holding down the throne, "Helvegr" is an authentic display of the true Norwegian black metal sound that TSJUDER helped define in the 90s. With this blistering aural assault, the band is certain to conquer 2023 with blasphemy and blast beats!

Since 2005 I listen to TSJUDER. I saw them first live in Germany (with CARPATHIAN FOREST) in the same year. I'm curious if another song from the new album will contain the word demonic, as with almost all TSJUDER albums: "Kill For Satan" (2000), "The Daemon Gate", "Demonic Possession" (2002), "Demoner Av Satans Rike", "Desert Northern Hell" (2004), "???", "Legion Helvete" (2011), "The Daemon Throne", "Antiliv" (2015), "Demonic Supremacy". But now I'm ready for the new song "Gods of Black Blood". The lyrics and the trailer make the fires burn in my heart for True Norwegian Black Metal... -FUNERAL MASTER

I love how oldschool BM-bands keeping the traditions of the genre alive, just as conservatively as traditional folk song bands. Black metal is a cultural heritage already.
Legion Helvete was my introduction to black metal. Took me like 5 minutes to close my mouth after their sound dropped my jaw back then. Nothing has really changed with their style, it is still raw, cold and hatefull. Definitly gonna buy the album!

This is actually really good, and I'm also glad to see the ridiculous black metal imagery of the 90s is alive and well (the corpse paint, bullet belts and spikes, the brooding faces, and menacing poses).
Seems like it still upsets the scene tourists as well (if you can see the dislikes)

I love that the guitar tone is gigantic, gorgeous, and so defined, yet also paying homage to the lo-fi, more muddled guitar tones of 90's black metal. Found this song the day before my birthday, an excellent early gift, and an amazing song/video.

Um... I think there was a typo in the title? Shouldn't that read "TSJUDER- Gods of BLACK METAL"? One of my finest moments in my metal career was being on a fest line-up with Tsjuder & Taake in Montreal 2013. Amazing fest all around and an elder black metaller's dream come true. 3 demons commanding such a large stage without any sort of extra stage dressing, pyro, or cinematics was inspiring to say the least... and Idar/Archaon from 1349 was filling in on guitar, but you'd have thought they had performed together consistently since 1996. Not sure who drums on this album, but AntiChristian was with them in 2013 and he really knew how to engage the crowd. Being in a 3 piece band myself, I believe Tsjuder are the best example of a "power trio" there is in Black Metal (outside of classic Venom, which I am proud to say I got to experience live myself... but those Ancient Godz don't radiate the same EVIL BLACK FLAME as the modern Black Metal Archfiends, Tsjuder,) and they set the bar for how you are meant to command your Legions in a live ritual. 218 AVE AZERATE!
