I am just obsessed with you and your channel! I've loved you always but I am having so much fun watching all of your videos lately. Thank you for giving us something new and different and super cool
I loved Jenna Kidd’s makeup line. She literally made my most FAVORITE lip gloss ever. The shade was the most perfect mauve-ish, nude. That was my most bought lip gloss ever. I went through so many tubes😅. I remember buying as many as I could find, when her line was leaving Target. 💔 Think I still have one laying around, for memories.
You are so creative love this series. The funny thing I actually have a Jemma Kidd Masterclass book I will have to dig it out. Also still have the Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette lol. The only thing is I am not Olive tone but I can definitely do this in a cool tone I will check her book. Such inspiration you give - you don't get a lot of that on TH-cam these days. Thank you Alexa.
Alexa this look is showing off your natural beauty. I love this new series following along with a makeup artist with your spin on it, lovely. I noticed someone in the comments asked you to do a look with the shadow Vex, that was a go to shade of mine long long ago.
I’ve never heard of Jemma Kidd, neither as a model nor as a MUA. The book seems really good with colour references and all! I really like the look for every day and it’s quick and easy to do. Mascara truly is a polarising product! You’re not a fan of the “ extended play “, and I haven’t been able to put it down😁! I like that it coats every lash in one swipe, the wand is skinny and easy to control and it’s the easiest to wash off! 💕
It is! There are so many mascaras that people rave about and they don't work for me. But that's the great thing about makeup - we can all discover our own favorites that are unique to us :) I really like extended play with the primer though...game changer!
Wow this was a trip down memory lane. I remember borrowing this book as well as the Bobbi Brown ones from my library as a teen. Looking forward to your other videos
Great series. Check out the work of legendary yet sorely underrated make-up artist Linda Mason. Before painter turned MUA Violette, there was Linda, an avant-garde painter and MUA whose work graced 80s, 90s avant-garde high fashion runways (Yohji Yamamoto, Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier) and fashion publications. She was known as the "Queen of Color." Her 2003 make-up book is a masterpiece! Her style is not for the faint of heart but her colorways are always so imaginative and otherworldly.

Thank you! And I will add that to my list - I don't actually own that shade so I need to grab it :)

What studio lighting do you use?
I actually just use one light in front of me - it's a very low budget operation over here lol
Don't you have the Cay Skin spf30 lip gloss?? It's amazing.
@chillandlerbong1166 I had it a few years ago, but the applicator broke so I never repurchased :/
Same thing happened to me!
😁👍
