@@CutiePie4325 yes, it’s a tough call. We have no idea how they were really rescued. We do know that all kinds of elaborate stories are invented. If we had to guess, most baby monkeys are purchased “somewhere”. Some of these are truly orphaned or abandoned w/o human intervention. Many more are purposely orphaned when farmers trap or shoot adult monkeys who raid their crops. And apparently selling young monkeys to labs is big business. These baby monkey channels are also big business. We’ve seen some channels where it appears that the owner is “hired” by someone else to be the main caretaker. That’s their job. Most channels do not appear to be like that. The 2 we watch most often appear to show a hard -working farmer/actor trying to make a living in a country that offers far less opportunities than ours. And, of course, both of these farmers take excellent care of the young primates.

Heck, you saved that other little monkey from that hole, so you know Sushi may have monkey friends out there. Sushi is smart, I think he knows exactly where his humans home is. Strange 'Wild' monkey sure was friendly to be out in the forest all alone. No other monkeys were seen or heard, but smokey lonesome here clean, well-fed, and probably owned and borrowed for filming.
