I am plant-based since last June and I haven't had a peanut butter cup for even longer. Now watching you making some, really make me want to try it out myself! I must say that I love the idea of using silicone molds. Your cups are gorgeous
Black sesame is SO UNDERRATED!! Probably because it ain't ~*aesthetic*~ but whatevs it is ultra tasty and delicious. Anyway these recipes look amazing thank youuu!
I've seen black sesame paste when I buy the other kind for Dan Dan noodles and wondered what I'd do with that magical black gold. I'm VERY excited about this video! 💜
Oh my! Is this the same black sesame that I'm taking but it in oil form? Because the oil tastes like car battery oil- disgusting- but supposedly it is so healthy for the hair and skin!
LOL uhhhhhhhhh I've never heard of anyone taking black sesame oil medicinally. It should taste nutty and deep! Definitely not car battery-like lol. Maybe your oil is rancid?
@@Thevietvegan So I just checked and supposedly it's just pure black seed oil. But not sesame. And that's the way it's supposed to taste, UNFORTUNATELY. 😣🙈
Hey Lisa, sorry if this isn’t the right place for this but this seemed to be your newest video. Just wondering what your stance is on BDS of Israeli products based on their horrific acts of genocide against Palestine? I’ll admit that I was disappointed that you’ve said nothing in this regard. I’m asking this to all the food bloggers I follow, especially the ones who speak up on issues, so I can know who I am comfortable in continuing to support vs. who I can no longer support on this basis. You address indigenous issues a lot but have been silent on this. Thanks!
I have always stood with Palestine and have spoken about it in the past (mostly on Instagram, I did share in my stories recently). I haven’t been super active on IG and TH-cam lately for health reasons but I have been following along with the events and have been listening. I’ve been criticized in the past for speaking up for Palestine because I have Jewish viewers, however I’ve tried to reiterate that you can be pro-Palestine, AND not antisemitic. But it’s also not my lane, so I’ve been trying to educate myself. Admittedly I haven’t been as outspoken on the topic in recent events but I have been following and supporting where I can.
Hi Lisa, thank you so much for responding! Oh my apologies and ignorance- I don’t have Instagram and see your FB stories which I thought were linked with Instagram! I am so happy to hear that. Yes, criticizing Israel’s policies is not anti-Judaism and certainly not anti-Semitic, as criticizing Saudi policies is not Islamophobic. I hope no one shames you for feeling otherwise. Thank you for your solidarity and hope you feel better soon 💕
Glad to see some posts but disappointed as seeing it framed as the Israel Palestine conflict or resources to aid “Israel/Palestine.” Israel does not need aid. They are backed by the US and have one of the strongest militaries in the world, not to mention how well funded they already are in $$.
"peanut butter cups goth cousin" im obsessed
LOL -good one!
Lolz.
BLACK SESAME IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ASIAN DESSERT FILLING OMG
It is a very good time :D I want to make tang yuan but I don't think I could eat it all by myself XD Eddie is not into Asian desserts
YYYYYEEEEEESSSSSS!!!! I friggin' love anything black sesame flavored. Asian supermarkets are plentiful here, so I will try this!
I hope you like them!
So happy to see your videos pop up in my notifications! No need to apologize for not uploading constantly. glad you're taking care of yourself.
