I think it’s not only his struggle. Everyone wants to be free. Living in the world now, no one is free. The only thing that Matters is money for a lot of people. And we are being taught to do this. Chase a check every month instead of being really happy with what you do.
apparently Sandro recently confirmed that this is indeed a diss track on Ash lol While I don't think Ash drove Tim to suicide, I do think he's truly despicable for how he pushed him to keep doing the stuff that he didn't want to anymore. And whether or not True Stories was framed a certain way, there is absolutely no context at all that can justify Ash telling Tim about all the money he could lose for not playing at certain gigs.
