what a great space! love the vibe. btw if its possible, i think it would make u feel better when working if u face the table towards ur window. so while u r on ur desk, u r not staring at a wall most of the time. n u will still have access to the stuff u put on ur wall, on ur right side. while still having a view of the entrace, painting area, sofa area and window views. i think thats a win win.

being someone who has been housing insecure for the past decade pretty much, a lot of this feels very very outside of my comfort if i did it myself, and i realize its trauma. (enjoyable to watch though!) i dont feel comfortable owning frivolous things, or spending money on redecorating. often times food is fuel and objects are tools, furniture is to use. ive lost a lot in moves or just having to let things go as i live in hotels. im at a point i can own things again and feel comfortable, but i cannot stand every $10 item it takes to make just one cozy looking corner of my room.
i totally agree with some of your fears, and i think what made me realize to let things go, is understanding how hard i work and how i can afford things that i never could have imagined myself having. i don't live near most of my friends or family so having my personalized space for myself to create is just really important to me 🫶🏻
@@sunnykabocha hey now, i was screaming into the void, what are you doing here? lol. im glad youve found stability. most of my decorations are from friends or mismatched leftovers from before all the moving. mostly misc collectables, rocks and crystals, and polaroids. just why does one shelf have to cost so much just to hold more than a few ounces? lol
