For someone given such privileged access to Hearn during a time when so many people want answers, this was a shambolic interview. There was clearly absolutely zero effort or foresight put into these questions….but then again that’s probably precisely why this chump was cherry picked for the job.

1. What were the dates of the VADA test vs the UKAD Test??
2. Has Conor Benn given any explanation to Matchroom as to why this drug may have got into his system?
3. Why was EVERYONE involved in this fight prepared to let the show go on knowing there was failed drug test which would have been made public after the public had spent their money?
4. Why do VADA testing at all if the fight was going on regardless of a failed test?
5. Do the public have a right to know the results of drug testing or should it be kept secret?
6. If the fight had gone ahead and Eubank was badly hurt or god forbid lost his life, who would have been responsible and who would be looking at criminal charges in the aftermath?
7. Is money more important than a fighters safety?
8. Who ACTUALLY pulled the plug in the end, was it the promoters, the BBBofC or DAZN?

What we’re all thinking, and this is scratching the surface with lots more to follow, and journalists closer to the game could have extended on this and asked even more intricate questions. Feels such a waste of time, as Hearn mentioned for the biggest platform. At least push the spokesman with all these questions and let him see what he legally can and can’t answer.

UKAD who tested Whyte and said there was an adverse finding conducted their investigation and concluded there was no case to answer.......so he wasn't suspended, sanctioned or banned.

UKAD deliberately keep their mouth shut and allow an investigation to take place so that athletes aren't tarnished in the absence of a proven outcome.......as mud sticks.
Fans deserve to know what's going on, but they also deserve all the information so that they can come to a well rounded and informed view.......UKAD's process provides that.

4. If they had no plans of using other sanctioning bodies, why did they carry on with the public workout and why did Kalle say otherwise?

I think the issue fight fans have with Eddie is that yes the UKAD tests have been negative but if a VADA test flags up as suspicious then you can't go ahead with the fight or else what's the point of signing up in the first place? It's very simple.

Because the steroid has a half life of 60-30 etc and the ukad tests were taken after so we’re not traceable. He’s clearly used it as a recovery/rebalance of oestrogen to balance out his testosterone after a large cycle. He thought the half life was down to levels that were not traceable but they weren’t so now faces the consequences

Dazn pulled the fight due to credibility! They knew about the test failure from the 1st September, that’s eubank jr, kelle, Eddie and Connor. They all decided to let the fight go for money.

1. "Team Eubank have been made aware of the levels"
Q: At what level - do you think, Eddie - is having a PED in your system okay?
2. "The B Sample won't be available before the fight"
Q: Why not? Sure it has already been taken. Why is it not ready as is?
3. "We move forward, ensuring all parties are comfortable"
Q: So you Eddie, as a top promoter in the sport - are comfortable knowingly promoting an unclean fughter?
His improvement since the peynaud fight now all makes sense he went life an death with a nobody and was nothing special even his attitude was different....then the rapid improvement and massive attitude/confidence change....all points to steriod use....not forgetting losing ranking because he failed to sign up to vada due to "admin" errors.

This whole thing has put me off him even more. It has put the integrity of the entire sport in to question. It was quite clear Eddie was happy to go ahead knowing full well what had happened and that's poor for someone at his level. This also makes you think of how many fights have gone ahead where perhaps doping hasn't been discovered or has been covered up.
The one's I feel sorry for the most are those on the Undercard. All that training, dedication and sacrifice towards their big moment only to have it taken away through no fault of their own. I think they should still be paid.

You did the right thing canceling them. I was one of their first subscribers in the US (got DAZN the day it launched here) but then they started getting funny with the pricing. Adding on a yearly fee (that was more than 12 months of monthly fees), raising the money fee, etc. They are only concerned with getting new customers and then stick it to existing customers. Very shady model.

@@israelsosa1778 I think it has been poor the last couple of months and the lineup moving forward isn't great. Initially great value but the challenge when your content is based on one sport is that you have to continually churn high quality fights out.
How can VADA have been requested by both fighters when Benn initially refused VADA testing? It's all out there as public knowledge.

Yeah once he'd flushed his system. That's why they need to be tested all year round, not just when they start official training camp. That's why certain fighters only fight once a year. So they can stack up an roids and complete one or two cycles to bulk up and build strength as well as quicker recovery. Then flush the system and have a 12 week official training camp where they test clean. Eddie knows this and Kugan should know this, but scared to risk his relationship and meal ticket with Eddie.

So basically, if you have the money and connections, you can use VADA to help give you a headsup before a UKAD test, as they can tell a fighter he has failed but all they do is notify both parties and do not even have the power to reprimand fighters in the UK. Then that fighter knows they have to get clean for their next UKAD test and they pass them just like Conor did. It is bonkers

@@Spartans-bm9vd Vada was only involved because of the WBC rankings and has no sway on the UKAD/BBBoC process. The only reason the BBBoC pulled out was for potential public backlash and potential lawsuits if it comes out after the event. All once they were informed it was coming out in the Daily Mail the following day of course. They would have made the B sample disappear for sure. I should also put out Victor Conte spilled the beans on the deal Al Haymon at PBC had with Vada not to reveal any of his fighter's results so Vada are not unaccustomed to shady dealings themselves. Conte also revealed how tests could be done in advance before an official test to double check you were clean before the official testing. That any modern fighter that gets caught taking PEDs is 99% the result a leak/betrayal or stupidity/negligence. I would say 95% of fighters take some kind of performance enhancement. It's rife, so widespread that it is expected. Hence Junior not being bothered, most of the better fighters he has fought were juiced in some way, he is used to it as all fighters are.

I'm so glad he's okay and people have been checking in on him. Knowing what could have happened in there when the Eubanks only recently lost one son and brother recently is unforgiveable. Even if Eubank Jr wanted to go ahead its still wrong. Hearn has got way to big for his boots and his ego has got so huge he actually believes he can talk his way out of it.
