Balang Araw (Hangad)

This liturgical song for Advent was written by Fr. Junjun Borres, SJ, and composed by Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ. "Balang Araw" is an appropriate Recessional song for the Season of Advent, that at the end of the Mass, we may truly prepare our hearts with joy and expectation for the Lord who will always come to bring healing, strength, hope, and consolation to all. One of the themes of Advent: healing. Isaiah, the prophet that foretells about the Messiah, describes Jesus' coming in the face of the blind being able to see, the deaf being able to hear, the mute being able to speak, and the lame being able to walk.
