I also use plastic baskets. I have 12 of them brown and tan from dollar tree and the holes are perfect. Along with handles they are very useful for this. 1 dollar a basket usd... can't find anything better that that.
Thank you for the video. May I ask questions: Do you apply the hydroponic fertilizer or something like that? How long the seedling can grow in your condition? Thank you.
Mam... How to prevent the maizes from ants... Many of them spoiling myself maize... Even I put pesticides around tray it leashes away while the water spraying.. Again the ants are invading to my trays. madam please give a remedy to solve this problem. 🙏
If you grow for 10 days you don't need chemicals, but if you grow for longer the grass will need a lot of energy to grow so you'll have to add chemicals or fertilizers to feed it.
You can up 10-12 kg per animal it may be cow or buffalo, as per body weight. But along with this you have to give dry fodder or grass because hydroponic grass have less fiber content and more water & protein content
If you are interested you can build your own hydroponic plant with less cost for more information check it in TH-cam . Or you can buy it from few suppliers
How sure you are a fodder corn is most likely 45% protein? Thats comparable to soya which is 45% protein too. And corn grow like 120days too. Which one is proficient in terms of yield production madam? Shukriya ate. 😁
Very nice information. Please tell me weather there is an increase in milk production. How much fodder is given per animal. What else do you give apart from maize fooder and in ehat quantity
Nice presentation, I have some questions 1. What is your feed conversion with hydroponic corn fodder? (feed efficiency) 2. What is the recommended ration per cow per day? 3. What is the percentage of the fodder to other feeds 4. Above all is it profitable to use corn hydroponic fodder?
4) it is profitable because with 0.5 kg of corn you get 4-5 kg of fodder, and you only need water, sunlight, and time to grow it. This can cut the cost of feed by a large amount.
Its not about profitable but farmers who hv lesser land area to grow fodder and water scarcity can adapt hydroponics fodder...but this is just to maintain the fodder but dairy cattle cannot be dependable only on this.
Madam you are growing fodder so professionally I request you to pronounce correctly it is hydroponic not hydrofonic if you don't beleave me check yourself, Good work all the best 👍

Thanks for your reply. What i want to know is .apart from Hydrophonic feed and straw ,do you give any other mixed feed.
@@mohannn100 yes some concentrate feed and dry matter
Concentrate feed includes Maize floor, de-oiled cake,( like groundnut cake soya bin cake) other mixed corns floor
Dry matter includes agricultural waste and other dry straw it's having fibre content which hydroponic grass don't have

What's the cost of 1 kg of maize.
What's the cost of green fodder per Kg..
Assume you produce 8kg fodder from 1kg seeds.. Is it profitable?
1kg of maize is 24 rs
@@bullet4922 nope 1kg of maize is around 14-18rs I hv seen a max of 19rs but not more than that
Its not about profitable but farmers who hv lesser land area to grow fodder and water scarcity can adapt hydroponics fodder...but this is just to maintain the fodder but dairy cattle cannot be dependable only on this.
Depending on place where you buy ,in delhi cost 30rs per kg ,in bihar it is 17 to 20 rs
