Original Ninjago fan here! I don't exactly agree with the placing of every season on this list but you provided very sold reasoning and evidence for each choice so I can't fault you! We all have our own opinions and I'm glad you put them out there is this impressively lengthed video!
Because my Ninjago fandom comes from the pilot and first two seasons, I am the definition of an old Ninjago fan. However, although those seasons are where my nostalgic love lies, I have grown to love the future seasons all the same, as they continued to grow and develop this great series in new and interesting ways. My absolute favorite aspect of Ninjago is the stories and character arcs of the first Spinjitzu Master family, especially the relationship between Lloyd and Garmadon. It always gives me the feels.
I got introduced to it with Season 5. I hated this franchise as a kid without even knowing anything about it,but then I got interested and fell in love with it.
I was an og Ninjago fan there was a period tho after the Elements series thought where I sorta stopped watching regularly, and would only really come back every now and then once the whole of that series was out. Same happened with series 8, 9, and 10. But I've recently watched every season of Ninjago there is, and I'm glad I did. I loved going back to the old series and series 8 9 and 10 were welcomed editions
Possession is my favorite aswell. Morro is such an intimidating character and my favorite villain, he is overconfident but always stubborn enough to get his way untill it’s his downfall at the end of the season
My favorite season is season 4 because it was the first time the ninja were ever really always from home and I loved the tournament style based story also I’ve been with the series since 2011

My list: 11. Day of the Departed was the biggest let down for me. Cole is my favorite character and I was really hoping for a season where Cole is struggling with his ghost abilities and what I thought was gonna happen was that Cole was going to be able to go between mortal and ghost. Also creates a major plot hole for Cole’s future. 10. Time Warp was an okay season, I wasn’t disappointed, but it didn’t stick out to me. 9. Season 8 was okay. I liked it for how solid it felt, but I’m not liking Lloyd with green eyes. It did have amazing moments like Cole singing. That was classic. 8. The pilots were fun and I enjoyed their simplicity, but there wasn’t a lot to them, which to be fair is really the creators trying to introduce Ninjago. 7. The final battle I did like some of the fillers, and the mega weapon arc was interesting. But the island of darkness part was incredible to watch. 6. Rebooted was a good season too and I really enjoyed the ninjas finally getting their elemental powers to be used without weapons. 5. Tournament of Elements was incredibly fun to watch and while Chen as a villain sucked, he was an awesome character with a personality of what’d you expect from a guy stuck on an island. Also the introduction of more elemental masters was awesome. My only complaint is that I wished I could’ve seen all the power dragons up close. 4. Skybound was an awesome season for me, and I love the amount of references to it, like when the sergeant was referencing Nadakhan and Jay and Nya were confused. 3. Serpentine season was phenomenal and the characterization of the ninjas and Lloyd were satisfying and we got to see that Garmadon wasn’t evil and heartless; he had a big heart and was evil. 2. Hunted was such a satisfying season that pulled me back in. The plot juggling didn’t bore me at all and I loved the reintroduction of the elemental masters. 1. Possession has to be my favorite season of all time. Morro is hands down my favorite villain and I liked Ronin and Nya’s characterizations. Also Cole becoming a ghost was one of the best plot twists of all times. I actually like him better as a ghost as there were many things they could’ve utilized his ghostliness for, and what an oxymoron too: the master of earth is a ghost. Also the way his voice was altered to sound hollow was awesome.

I remember watching the first season of ninjago when I was 5. Good times. I stopped watching around season 5 but I'm starting to revisit it again and boi its changed since the pilot season though I was say mostly for the better. Glad to see one of old favorite shows do well.

Yh i also think possession is the best. It was so cool to with lloyd being possessed. I've watched quite a bit of hunted but not all of it as it isn't on netflix (uk) but from what i saw it looked awesome
Man, I remember when I ordered a Ninjago guide book from a book fair, then watched the pilot episodes when they first came out, all when I was 7 years old. Good memories.
For me possession is number 1 and here is why 1. Nya gets good character development 2. Lloyd is not the answer (same with s4) 3. Morro is a great enemy 4. We got some more lore 5. Introduced ronin 6. The ghosts theme looked really good 7. The intro Need i say more
I remember really hating it when Lloyd lost his “golden power” or something like that. I still watched the show since the change was inconsequential, I hate it when characters are nerfed during the story.

The final battle season is way too good, it is my absolute favorite. The snakes season is great too. Your complain about the final battle being slow is absolutely true but that is needed for Lloyd to evolve as a Ninja and be eventually able to fight the enemy. We cant forget that Lloyd is younger than the other Ninjas

Also in my opinion the season finale of Hunted was slightly rushed but not enough to make it a not enjoyable epiosde in fact its really good just not great.The Pilot is really good.Season 1 was also Pretty Good.Season 2 is probably the weakest one but I prefer it for the last episodes thoose are really great.Season 3 is my favorite cause it did everything almost perfectly in my opinion.Season 4 was also good but not as good as season 3.Season 5 was good but not as good as season 4 but Morro is an amazing villain.Season 6 is one of thoose Seasons you need to re-watch to enjoy it at least thats what happened to me.Season 7 probably the most average season of the show.Season 8 really good the writters came back with a bang with this one.Season 9 Amazing enough said.

I remember watching the first season of ninjago when I was 5. Good times. I stopped watching around season 5 but I'm starting to revisit it again and boi its changed since the pilot season though I was say mostly for the better. Glad to see one of old favorite shows do well.

For me possession is number 1 and here is why
1. Nya gets good character development
2. Lloyd is not the answer (same with s4)
3. Morro is a great enemy
4. We got some more lore
5. Introduced ronin
6. The ghosts theme looked really good

The final battle season is way too good, it is my absolute favorite. The snakes season is great too.
Your complain about the final battle being slow is absolutely true but that is needed for Lloyd to evolve as a Ninja and be eventually able to fight the enemy. We cant forget that Lloyd is younger than the other Ninjas

Thats my Ranking Tbh I love them all and it all comes down to liking one more than the other.But I do have some critiques like DotD has way too much in it to make it coherent I think it would have worked better the way the are handling Ninjago Legacy.
Also in my opinion the season finale of Hunted was slightly rushed but not enough to make it a not enjoyable epiosde in fact its really good just not great.The Pilot is really good.Season 1 was also Pretty Good.Season 2 is probably the weakest one but I prefer it for the last episodes thoose are really great.Season 3 is my favorite cause it did everything almost perfectly in my opinion.Season 4 was also good but not as good as season 3.Season 5 was good but not as good as season 4 but Morro is an amazing villain.Season 6 is one of thoose Seasons you need to re-watch to enjoy it at least thats what happened to me.Season 7 probably the most average season of the show.Season 8 really good the writters came back with a bang with this one.Season 9 Amazing enough said.
