This is pretty cool! I'm getting into woodworking and seeing these projects inspire some creativity. 1 question. What could you add or make to allow the monitor to swivel tilt?

Very neat! Really nice brackets for both monitor and speakers. I was just wondering (and maybe I missed it if you addressed it in your on screen text) Could a wing nut be used or would it only unscrew itself over time? Good build mate!

I didn't even think of using a wingnut as My setup wont need moving once in place but i don't see why not though? I suppose they would need to be reasonably big enough to get enough pressure as this bracket holds by friction. A wooden knob thingy with a captive nut fitted could also work. Really appreciate the productive feedback as sometomes some peoples comments (maybe trolls)can take the wind out off your sails.

Aha! Yes ofcourse. If its in a static position then it wouldnt need wingnut (or a wooden knob) ofc. I didnt think that far. I love this build! Keep it up!

The money and effort on this thing just buy a monitor arm its much better and it will have far more space too move around than just up down

@@outoffocus875 it won’t be the exact same as an industry monitor arm except if ur like a pro or smth but it’s still pretreatment respectable and cool to be able to say rhat u built ur own monitor arm instead of having to pay 50 bucks for an industry big brand arm. The builder from this video is satisfied with what he build as it accomplishes his needs as a functional monitor arm, he didn’t need it to go up down, twist left and right but just for it to be able to turn and extend 🙃
U might not have seen the use in this as u probably find it being a waste of time as u don’t have the same skillset he does but him being him and being good at woodworking and needing an arm and a way to reuse his extra pieces of wood this was the ideal project/challenge for him to accomplish
