Would say spear is a bit worse, gs is a bit better, and disruptor as a whole is a bit weaker than before due to the raise of assassin builds who counter disruptors but are worse vs larger groups. A lot of builds you can play as a disruptor style without having to full commit to the role (like ga wh) and I think that’s a pretty good balance too. Twitch.tv/datbit is decent at it, twitch.tv/plojow is my favorite to learn from/watch
BB has really good dmg but bb isn’t good bc of the dmg, it’s good bc it has a lot of utility and good dmg. Being able to slow people can set people up to be killed by others a lot easier! Exhaustive net shot is probably a top 5 ability in new world (top 10 if not top 5)
It’s played more as a disruptor since the dmg isn’t as consistent. Animations are long so u naturally take more dmg, which makes it more disruptor-like than killsquad-like.
@@jdcravings91 That has mostly been fixed. I think the general consensus was that they reduced the lunge, which was perhaps dragging people past what the hitbox could actually hit. Now the real issue is finding the Heavy players necessary to actually make it work in war. I don't think it works at all in Medium except in OPR/3v3s. (I feel like this is the primary obstacle for most competitive NA companies these days. We're really paying for our meta's underinvestment in Heavy. Getting people to play the weight class is like pulling teeth. It's really hard for people used to playing in Medium to accept.)

Second, what would the recommended perks be for gear on BB/IG medium as a peeler? I'd imagine resi + aversion + ? for armor but would like to hear a TLDR overall - interested in it! Thanks
Yea resil/aversion is generally best since u don’t dodge a ton in bb, you want enchanted/KE/chain or attunement for bis bb with plague nade on armor rn imo. BB is played with left tree mostly and as a backline peeler role.
@@dyslexicape4249 GS just got more control/Util. Thats why i like it, also dancing between the 3 stances. Still in Lasb, but bro so much fun with 2 good bruisers and 1 classical ig/vg by your side.
@@ryanquilates3089 I don't think the Crit bonus is affected by Invig Punishment at all. Haste is, but many people still like Haste for the value for repositioning, especially around the point. (But if you give Haste to someone like Mecro, who plays SNS/VG, that can be bad. xD)
Wow, spicy take on Heavy VG/IG. I do agree that running 200/50/265 in Medium makes me feel like I might as well run it in Heavy. Problem is, it feels like 99% of the VG/IG community would rather drink cyanide than play in Heavy armor. I literally let them try it out on my alt, which has an identical Heavy VG/IG set to my main, and nobody yet has asked to play it a second time. Anyhow, Refreshing or RW? I recently completed an 8x Refreshing Heavy set for my main, and will be testing after I return from my business trip. But I was wondering if you had any thoughts about it. If there was one thing I really liked about my Medium 200/50/265 setup, it was how fast Entomb came off CD.
Refreshing if you have 5-6+ rw if less, vg take is spicy but idk if ur running high con vg I don’t see why u don’t go heavy except for comfort/dodges. Even then heavy kinda makes more sense w the fort change.
@@mecr0w 300/200 is decent and more tanky. 200/150/150 is just a more well rounded approach to dps and tankyness. Still testing, like both very much, especially when i can shift into onslought for like 4 seconds. Big Numbers ^^
@@mecr0w still figuring out armor perks. 5 resil is a given, 5 shirk as well. after that its either 2 freedom + 4 ref ward or 3 Freedom and 3 Ref Ward since i need slots for Weaapon Perks ^^

i play H VG/BB point tank ...didnt see it in your video... any thoughts? orb, scream, obi/vg and net, blast shot, nades/ BB
I used to play it and love it, just not as common now. If you can live it’s the best solo carry tank build in the game imo

I hear the tracking of the voidblade is the main issue

yea I think that's what I ended up with too or more tanky w 300 str 200 con. Haven't touched it in a bit.
