I've watched numerous vids of Toby presenting yachts over the years, but you can just tell how stone blown away he is by this magnificent yacht. As he said, over 20 years old and still insanely amazing. In the immortal words of Month Pythons Eric Idle, you lucky, lucky ba... 👍
Wally B was a beacon of what to come in the future, I love it. Some of the best details are yet to be adopted by modern yacht designers. Thank you Toby for sharing your competent opinion on this masterpiece. May the wind be with us . . .
This blew my mind when I 'discovered' Wally's website around 2001. It seemed to take years before the other super yacht yards caught up to Wally's level of innovation.
Luca Brenta is a visionary, way a ahead of time. Dare say, perhaps one of the best contemporary/influential naval architects of our time. Enzo Ferrari in navel times. Thank you for sharing.
WOW. I love that boat! Some very exotic materials used. Carbon Fiber 20 years ago was like Titanium being used in the 90's. Very expensive to purchase and machine. Carbon fiber was and in some respects the same.
Beautiful monohull, but that 5 meter draught will keep you out of most marinas and forget about accessing most of the atolls in the Pacific also. With that thing you’ve got to stay far away from any coral reefs and only go into deep water ports. That’s why I love catamarans with retractible daggerboards !!!! The multihulls give you tons of space and some are loaded with luxury too. The Sunreef 80 7X Split it’s hard to beat when it comes to space and luxury. If you want performance you’ll have to sacrifice some luxury and hit the Sunreef 80 Carbon or the McConagy cats which can comfortably cruise at over 20 knots while you’re sipping a cup of tea without having to brace and hold on for dear life. Yeah, I know that most of these luxury toys are made for luxury charter and/or rich bastards which go onboard for the weekend and have a crew sailing the boat for them. I’m a live onboard sailer and I look at things from a different perspective.
This is the coolest boat interior. Great layout. Not a lot to hold onto though below and above deck. Those open (leather covered) cabinets not a good idea though.
20 years young!!! This is one beautiful yacht
Wow! Ahead of its time, so much nicer than a lot of newer builds.

Out of all the boats reviewed on this site, this is by far the best design and development of a sailing yacht to date. ⛵⛵⛵👏👏👏
After all those years, she still looks fresh. Love it!

A time when we still had inspiring designers in yachting industry!
I would describe her as a sailing loft. Really an unusual and cool design.
20 years old huh...i agree...way ahead of its time

Wonderful, absolutely fabulous yacht - timeless design ---
Holy Crap thats gorgeous. Thanks Toby. 👍 ⛵️
Awesome. Timeless design.
Always loved wallys, she’s a beauty
Only 3.5 million? It was probably a hundred million when built! If only I was unimaginably wealthy, she'd be mine
A legendary yacht, thanks for showing us..
timeless layout, got it right twenty years ago,,a useful keeper

20 years old...imagine how much taxes that owner dodged with that luxembourg flag....
jawadad802 I'm just trying to imagine who gives a shit
@@youtubisashoe yep if u gotit use it .
Taxes are for the poor working stifs, absolutely not for the filthy rich ! No one got rich by working and paying taxes, ever !
@@youtubisashoe A lot of us do give a shit.
@@angela1984a don’t you have a sandwich to make or laundry to wash Angela?
Love the GTT115 next to it
The distinction between guests and crew area seems to be much more distinct than on other, modern boats reviewed here
GORGEOUS!!!

You have seen too many YT vids and clearly never sailed. The 5 meter is needed for proper sail. It's not a motorhome 😎

Thanks for the tour!
McClaren F1 energy. still just as desirable in spite of a changing industry.
Beautiful
Wow awsome mannnnnnnn! Now if they can make them for the average punter. A 45 footer?
the Wally Nano is the 'poor man's' Wally.
Awesome..... keep the videos coming!
when this yacht is late to port I bet everyone asks wheres Wally?
How long does carbon fiber last?
beautiful, but you definitely here the age in the floors!
Not enough expensive my son ;-) :-)
Very nice boat !
100 foot and 4 cabines holy crap
very nice sailing yacht for afluent individuals!
Is the camera also 20 years old?
If only I had an extra 3.5 million
It's up for sale for €2.5 million now. Depreciation.
@@digitalskala that is a steal to be honest. This thing is unbelievable and has aged very gracefully.
And another 4 million per year..for preventive maintainence ..change of parts and crew....
3.5 million is nothing for a yacht like that
What flag was the one at the stern of the sailboat?
Happy New Year 2029 . CHA CHING
The haves and the have nots, they surely define each other...
What are those winches doing inside the cockpit/lounge area...?
Where is the anchor hidden on these wally yachts?
The anchor drops out of the bottom.
wow !!
3.5 million for a 20 yo hull shape. nice boat but your still gunna be beat by smaller yachts
Very nice but very creeky floors.
All about the money...
But who come up with the name Wally , what a wally.
Aged well.
Wally Bayola
The rich go sailing....
And the jealous people go sunday driving : \
The boat is too small!
AMAZING BOAT, but horrible interior
Wow! It's... Almost entirely not unlike every other yacht interior, except for the nauseating excess of that mottled carbon fiber look.
Design only to show off,not practical
