    Super helpful video! Love the roundup and gorgeous drone footage. I'm hoping to visit one or two state parks next month with my drone, so this gives me a great idea of what the landscapes are like. Thank you!

    I gotta say I was super pleased to see how easy they have made it to get drone footage of parks. They managed to keep it respectful to all visitors, but also not a pain in the but for getting beautiful footage of these amazing parks.

    Nice...fun to see all the cool spots in my backyard. A side note, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes are really close to the town of Kanab, which actually has quite a bit in way of Hotels, Vacation Rentals, a couple grocery stores and a bunch of amazing restaurants. So, it's not soooo out of the way, but just enough to make it not crazy busy, as this whole area is amazing.

    Gunlock Falls at Gunlock State Park has flowed for the past 2 years. Utah's been in a drought and it hadn't flowed in a while. but it is amazing and definitely worth going to see in the spring if we've had a good snowy winter.

    Great video Kevin! How / where did you get drone permits for Goblin and other parks?

    • @KevinEassa
      @KevinEassa  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is super easy to register with the state parks individually. You just have to go in the visitor center, fill out some paperwork and pay the drone permit fee (which is $5-20 per park for the ones I’ve flown at). And some parks you can only get permits at certain times of year

    i am disabled so i cannot hike too far but still enjoy the outdoors. any best suggestion for disabled people that can enjoy the park without having to hike for miles? ty

    • @KevinEassa
      @KevinEassa  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of these parks are still worth going to even if just to drive through them! But the state parks have done a great job making a handful of these places very accessible. Goosenecks, dead horse, quail creek, and sand hollow you could visit without having to hike at all. Snow canyon is a beautiful drive with some shorter trail options. I hope this helps!

      Go to Tahquamenon Falls State Park in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It’s flat sidewalk to it. Also, you can sit on a ferry from Munising, MI to view Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. That’s in the Upper Peninsula as well. Also, Old Faithful in Yellowstone NP has flat sidewalk. In Florida, you can view animals in their wetland habitats on a flat boardwalk at Wakodahatchee and Green Cay in Palm Beach County.

    You did a nice job on the narration. The music didn't help, as it was distracting from your narration. The videography was generally very good, material was generally useful and value added, I think not many people are aware of some of these state parks in Utah. regards, Dan

    I agree with the annual pass to all State parks, but there is also an annual pass for all NATIONAL PARKS too.... With that said, I never bought a pass even though I support it and that's because I discovered (a very long time ago) that if you arrive early enough, before the pay-booth opens, you can "LEGALLY" enter for FREE!!!!!!, so you're NOT STEALING!!!!.. Except for the SELF-PAY parks, so ya, you got to pay there.... Not sure if this applies to all as some may have locked gates or barricades, but it's worked at the ones I went to so far.... I suppose do your research, especially here on TH-cam from other peoples experience.==== I never had a drone, but always wanted to use one for some of my trips.... I'm guessing the reason why they are banned in some places is maybe because some have crashed due to a mechanical issue or battery failure, and they would be considered LITTER and a potential hazard to the wildlife when the weather starts to corrode it and then a worker has to retrieve it.
