King Vultan’s Iron Maiden bustier makes him feel special! Love the series though. I used to watch it after school. My favorite was the Clay People and how they emerged from the walls of their cave. Can’t wait for their appearance!

Funny seeing King Vultan, considering how Brian Blessed so embodied the role -- and was the ONLY good thing -- in the 1980 Flash Gordon film. This guy seems so sedate and controlled by comparison. Which, frankly, would apply to any character, really.... 😂
Simply fantastic is all I can say about your colorizing with real life-like colors and 1080 upgrade. Please do all 13 chapters and then please consider doing all 12 chapters of Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe. Many, many thanks!
The "colorizing" in these serial chapters is terrible! First, the wrong colors are being used, second, the colors flicker and drop out. This "colorizing" is an amateur hack job. Black and white is what the producer and director intended. Leave it alone!! Black and white creates an atmospheric reality that color can't match.
In retrospect, this all seems amusing and naive in it's portrayal. However, I regard the current obsession with the prospect of colonizing Mars, as equally absurd. (Human beings will never depart the planet that sustains life through it's long evolution.)

The Clay People aren't in this serial. They appear in "Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars" (1938).
He laughs, gives her jewels and dresses, and does shadow puppets for her. What more does this gal want out of a man anyway?!
The shadow puppets scene will go down as one of the truly epic moments of cinema

I disagree. The costumes, MINGs daughter, Klytuss, the music. It deserved a sequel.
