Jasmine, VS has gotten a lot of heat in recent years about a lack of diversity among its cast of models, poor-quality lingerie, limited sizing, and cultural appropriation. Do you think they'll ever bring back the show??😥
@@sacycalon4264 I think if they took the criticism and made the necessary changes, they can come back. Not everyone wants to see size zero white models catering to the male gaze and making regular women feel horrible about themselves.

That being said not everyone can be a model its like saying "im not good at physics but i wanna be a physician therefore i should be" .Plus size models dont belong in victorias secret show. @@sacycalon4264 I totally get your point. Modelling is about fantasy and with that in mind, there are some extremely gorgeous "plus" size models who would represent the brand very well. And for the consumer, why would u buy a product that looks way different on you than how you see it being displayed. Other brands have successfully included a variety of sizes while still maintaining the element on fantasy. It's very doable.
Honestly, if i was in Victoria's Secret marketing i would find this downfall as an amazing opportunity to re brand itself. just like a celebrity going to rehab and totally make over their image like Angelina Jolie lol. She's still a crazy woman but its inside and everyone forgot about how she is so crazy. I would first of all stop the pink line, no one is interesting in the baby doll image anymore. I would stop the super skinny models and keep up with the media production to market strong is sexy like what everyone has been loving.. and be more culturally sensitive and stop all this tribal stuff they've been making for costumes.. add more black, add more avant garde looking costumes. stop predominantly putting blonde models as their center piece...totally re brand! Everyone loves a good comeback
That's not the reason the show was cancelled. I think it was cancelled bcz some models including bella hadid accused the president of VS Ed Razek of sexual harassment. But the brand is amazing i hope it will make a great comeback.

You gotta move with the times..people want diversity in all aspects. But yes I wish they could make a proper comeback I grew up watching the shows and collecting the catalogs
