Wow, improvements in 1.50 in terms of hardware usage, with a 3060 only 60 fps in 1.50. In 1.49 the 3060 managed everything at ultra 120 fps. Keep up the good work ETS2 developers, you're guaranteed to ruin the game.

The nvidia control panel setttings are wrong. You will change ALL the pc settings in EVERY game in that way. You are in GLOBAL settings, should go in the panel on the right (program settings) and find euro truck simulator 2 directory, so you can apply the same settings but only for ets2.
The guys can do everything wrong that they can but say that it's getting better. Instead of fixing mistakes, like hookups for the interior and the lights, they should finally be programmed so that they go on and off with the light switch like they did in 1.47. But since 1.48 they've been lit permanently. Oh, and don't forget to encrypt the files so that you can't see what kind of crap they're doing.

I think that is because your GPU cant reach to the 120fps. If you unlimit It It could manage to reach 100fps or something like that. For me its the same when i limitate It to 60fps and i have a lot of settings high with a rtx 4070.
I have a 4070, limited to 100FPS, and on everything maxed in Ultra I get..... 100FPS. Has to be something in the settings, check the new FPS setting added in 1.5
I feel like ETS 2 just isn't as fun when its missing the details and when its at lower settings, i mean looking at your truck and cargo while going from A to B is a part of the gameplay loop like if you dont care about looks and you care just for pure gameplay going from A to B then i think you are playing it wrong?
Hey bro, it seems like 1.50's optimization have an issue with not the fps but something else, I have a 3080, game will just stutter no matter if I cap 60fps or not, FPS jumps every couple seconds seems like, but I can run 1.49 smoothly with 60fps same settings, even I lower the graphic to ridiculous level still happens
You should be crushing this game with a 3080. It's more then likely not your hardware if all you did was update. The problem is 1.50. SCS is aware of this to the point Pavel talked about fixes/hot fix(s) in the near future. No eta on when. . .

Same issue here At 1.49x i was at medium graphics running smoothly. 60 ~ 30 fps 1.50x now looks like Minecraft at 10 fps at exact same graphics settings 😅
I'll be playing 1.49 with my global map combo and graphics mods until they make it somewhat different, since right now the only somewhat updated thing is the UI.

Bro your control panel settings are have no use. You select default global settings which already choosed from default. And in game options the high shadow and reflection settings are the most fps killer. You can decrase resolution scale too. And i recommend to close grass option which has nothing to do in game except decoration. Dont get me wrong nice video and effort. I just want to add some my opinions :)

omg i see big numbers rtx3080,4080, 32 gigs of ram, rocket CPU-us, I RUN A 14 YEARS old CPU AMD PHENOM 1055T 2.8 GHz 6 cores 6 treads, 16 gigs ram DDR3, GYGABITE 1050 TI 4GB OC 2 FANS, SSD KINGSTON , I have everything at ultra settings, only grass density at low and mirror distance at medium, SMAA+TAA , 400% SCALING,1600X900 screen resolution at 60 Htz , RESHADE with 3 presets, HD BRUTAL ENVIRONMENT as a graphic mod and i have 35-40 fps stable, some countryes even more like ISLAND 50 fps.... I really dont know what else you are running over there 4k resolution?, what else? but you complain that you get only 50-60 fps. There is something else going on over there on your computers, because my rig is much lower than yours and i get those fps, folllow the logic if on those 4080es and 3080es cards you only get 60 ,well on my monster pc i shoulve get what?? 20-25???

Before 1.50 I used to play with high level of graphics on Mac M1. Now it's a pain in the a** even with lowest settings.

Check your FPS Limit
