That water filter press is amazing! So much easier than pumping! And faster than a gravity-fed filter bag! Thank you for demonstrating.
If using a stuff sack for a pillow, I would be tempted to turn it inside-out. So any grass or dirt stains, later won't be transferred to my sleeping bag or tent, when I return that to the bag in the morning.

Just a suggestion Vanessa, The Sawyer Mini Water Filter for $20.00 US is what I always carry. Extremely light weight, you can drink straight from a creek, or use to fill water bottle, and can be back-flushed to clean filter and can filter up to 100k gallons of water. Beautiful area and very well maintained trails. Looks like you had a great adventure.

Hmmm .. the YFood .. I would agree that there is a disposable plastic bottle to carry around (and I am aware as to how much you 'Love' 😣 disposable plastic 😁).
Perhaps if it came (in bulk) in powder form that one could mix with water as needed .. less waste?

Vanessa,As always a wonderful trip. One thing i have been wondering is why you don't carry a small survival shovel. It can replace a hatchet or even a small ax.I love that you carry out your trash,do not bury it as some do, but you pick up trash others have left behind.I always taught my scouts leave no sign or trace other than footprints. Another excellent video Vanessa. You and Marina make a good team. Beautiful woodland nature and the sound of the stream always in the background. The MSR tent looks very robust, but I personally like a taller tent that I can sit up in. Have you ever considered carrying a trekking pole with you to help with balance when crossing streams etc? Lovely castle ruins also.

Each video you (film, choreograph, plan & execute, edit, upload, etc., not in that order necessarily) is a Mastery...Truly a Creation of a different nature than the last, or of your others. A different mood is set to enjoy in a different way. This video brought me a sadness and joy, both in the very same moment... The joy of the beauty in the places you two visited and yes, the sadness that my time In life to realistically visit such places is long past...Then the joy again in your helping me be able in my imagination to attain fulfilment in this way. I love you this video very beautiful
I have only recently discovered your channel and have watched many of your videos already! I feel like I am there with you enjoying your German forests. My sister was able to live a few months in Germany as a teen as my father was often stationed there but I was already married and living in Texas. I love your camping trips but just feel very nervous about you being out there alone.....just not a good idea, no matter the experience or circumstances. Have a wonderful time but be safe.
