Thanks! I've grown one gourd before but now that I live in an apartment I source them all from Wellburn Gourd Farm in southern California. They have extremely thick shelled gourds which are preferred by most people for banjo making, but I was just talking to a guy who makes tawitóls, which are Aztec instruments, and he says the thin shelled gourds resonate much better, so I'm looking for a place to get thinner shelled gourds now to test that out
